I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.It is that the first time I called him was Friday , Friday was my final call to him The “repair was made on Tuesday and I called him as well as my husband so messages were left prior to the Friday call, he was able to call me back quickly when scheduling the appointment and I see no reason that a call/message made on a Tuesday was not returned till Monday Second, it is correct that the drain was overflowing in addition to the washing machine lid “unlocking and not finishing the cycle” , he gave me his best guess as to what he thought it was However, what he said he “thought “ it was would have required a licensed plumber which, he Greeley admitted he is not He did however feel like since “he has been around this since he was 10” he could be the one to do the repair He surmised it would cost us thousands of dollars Obviously we needed to look into that and make a decision about that much of money He was hired to fix the “lid locking” and “unlocking mid load” issue NOT to offer us plumbing work for which he is not licensed to do His call on Monday was way too late and as previously stated I had already had a new washer delivered, so at that point there was nothing he could come look at Interestingly enough there has been NO issue with any water overflowing since we got the new washer so had I agreed to let him tear up my pipes the outcome would have been the same and the issue was clearly with the washer not my pipes I am requesting a refund not for the part he can no longer get back but the remainder of what I paid for his “services” I did not get the service I paid for, either with fixing the washer or getting a call back after the MANY times I called Further, he shouldn’t be offering to do things costing thousands of dollars for which he is not licensed, that is illegal

October 24, 2017Re: Rebuttal ResponseMario’s has a month guarantee on service. The guarantee is good for *** to return and fix the appliance if the initial repair is unsuccessful. Sometimes there is more than one issue with a machine and repairs need to be made in succession to make sure all issues are resolved. *** never had an opportunity to return and resolve all the issues

*** was out to fix the machine 10/ A call was placed 10/11, no response A call was placed 10/12, no responseAgain a Call was placed 10/13, again no response Does he also take months to call people back? You had the opportunity to call me back Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Nada I can not go without a washing machine that long with children, one of whom is handicapped The machine in question is no longer in my possession so , you can't come look at it again The right and fair thing to do here would be to return a portion of the money, at the very least you were negligent in calling me backPutting me in a bad position, what do I do? Wait? What if you never called me back? I have to do laundry hours is an extended amount of time to wait for a call back and honestly, I did not think you were going to call me at all When your website states "*** operates his business on his personal values of high integrity, trust, respect for others and a true passion for his work." I would hope you can see that you hold some fault in this matter and refund some of the money, THAT is the right thing to do. Regards,

I fixed the machine on October 10, 2017. I was unable to test the repair because the drain was clogged at the house. I offered to help her fix the drain and she said no. She left a message at my office on Friday demanding her money backShe left on the message that she wanted me
to go back on Friday which I was unable to do because my schedule was already full. I didn’t receive the message until Monday. I called her Monday and she didn’t answer. She filed this complaint on Friday before I even had a chance to properly respond. She didn’t give me the opportunity to go back and honor my six-month guarantee. It’s also possible that the washer could have had more than one thing wrong with it, which can happen, but I had no way to test the machine to know for sure and she wouldn’t allow me to fix the drainTherefore, I am not refunding any money. I will be happy to go back and honor my guarantee if she’s only give me the opportunity
