On December 19, 2019 I received a bill for $110 the date of service was for May 22, 2017. I went there on May 22, 2017 I paid my $30 copay and they should have billed me Federal BC/BS insurance. Which they did and my insurance paid. When I called Ambucare Clinic they said that my insurance took the money back they had paid in November of 2019. I said why? She said she didn't know but they had done it to a lot of people. I then hung up and called my insurance. She said that they got audited and realized they had not billed correctly(insurance fraud) and thats why they failed there audit and owed the insurance company back the money and should have also refunded my $30 copay. and they are not allowed to bill me for it. So my insurance lady said she would call them and get it figured out. I called the office back and explained this to them which they told me Becky was incharge and was not in the office on Thursday afternoons she would have her call me back on Friday. So I waited until noon on Friday to call and they told me she had called in sick to call back on Monday. Then around 3pm my insurance lady called to tell me she had spoke to Becky and that she told her the bill was from another date of service(I have only been there 5/22/17 and before that 2015). So I then called back to speak to Becky(which I was told had called in when I called at noon) and for them to tell me she had just went home!!! The office staff had hung up on me twice and told me not to call back. All I was wanting to know was when this bill I received what was the date of service. They finally told me 5/22/17. I finally get to talk to Becky on Monday 12/23/19 and she told me they would rebill insurance. I questioned it because its been over 2 years!! She was very rude and said well thats what I will do!!!
