I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].  
As I stated in the previous e-mail I was told to take my car elsewhere if I wanted my car seats to be thoroughly cleaned because he did not have the right equipment. Has he purchased it since I was there, I don't know? He purposely sprayed the seats when we were standing there so we couldn't see how filthy they were. I had to ride home sitting on wet seats. Who does that? Somebody trying to cover up shoddy work that's who! I think he remembers when I was there because he did a crappy job. I would remember it too if I had done that.

I am writing in response to complaint 11465781 which was filed on 5/24/16. I am surprised to received this complaint, as the job that was completed on this particular vehicle was completed in 2015. Although done last year, I remember this incident quite clear as in 24 years of business, I have never...

had a customer treat or talk to me in the tone that this person and her husband did. All cars that are given an estimate over the phone are that, an estimate. We also inform our customers that this price may vary due to the condition of the car. When this particular came in for its appointment, we inspected the car and informed the customer, who had a $100 gift certificate, that this job would go over the $100 by $20 or so. The customer was understanding and had no complaint or issues with this. When we informed the customer that the job was complete and the price did go over by $25, the response we received from the customer was rude and aggressive. For these people to decide on what they think is “plenty” for a detail, shows lack of respect for anyone who works. How are they experienced in the detail business to assume that the price they believe is plenty is fair? My business is know for fair prices, for being community driven and for being philanthropic to all charities. I was completely appalled. I can and will provide numerous character witnesses that will confirm all of this. As she references an extractor, she is completely wrong. I do in fact have an extractor is used to clean seats or carpets, it will sometimes bring all stains to the surface that were not showing before the detail. Every customer that calls with this issue is told to bring the car right back and we will take care of this free of charge as part of a customer satisfaction program. Asking for a full refund of this care is absurd and frankly quite embarrassing for the customer. The pride that Marion Recon takes in completing an outstanding job is something that I am quite proud of and can attest that my customers are as well.
