Marion Used Car Superstore- McGrath Automotive Reviews (5)

Dealership lied to me on several occasions I could write a novel on the misleading sales practices that the McGrath family of dealerships pulls on peoplePretty much everything they say, for example "minimum dollars for your trade" has a little asterisk by itHowever in this case, an asterisk is related to a body part that involves the customer bending over, because this is what they will do to youOn 8/31, I purchased a used Ford Focus from this locationIt is the car I wanted to go withI was told this car had to many miles on it, and the lender would not furnish a loan for a vehicle with over 75,milesAfter speaking to the lender myself, I found out this was not true, and McGrath simply wanted to sell me a more expensive vehicleTheir Ford location tried to do the same thing to meThey up-sell to their customers by lying about the lending requirementsTwo days later, the vehicle started experiencing problems with the transmissionI found out Ford has a clas

I wish I would have done research on McGraths, Marion location before purchasing a vehicle from them, but I didn't as I really was interested in the car, which I did research The incident wasn't with the sales personnel but came the following day after purchasing the car The next morning I received a call that the Sales Manager wanted me to come back in and change the sales agreement to reflect that I would finance a certain amount instead of paying off the agreed amount for the vehicle I said that wasn't what I was told the night before and I would call them back After taking some deep breaths and calling my husband I called them back and told them I wouldn't do it and if they wanted the car back they'd have to come and get it with my signed check They contacted me more times that same day In the meantime I had contacted my lawyer as this was beginning to sound like a legal issue After telling them I had contacted a lawyer the next phone call from them, they agreed they had made a mistake, should never have called me and apologized I was so excited to purchase this car and they completely took that pleasure away and left me with agitation I have never had a problem with purchasing a vehicle before so this was a "wake up" call for me I was also uncomfortable with them telling me how to rate my experience the night I purchased the vehicle Customers read reviews and don't expect to be told by a sales person how they should rate their business

Sold me a truck that needed reapairs that they where aware of No one can find the inspection report when I brought the truck
engine is no good smoking burning oil knocking manafolds no good also studs no good also transmission slippingthe problem started days after purchase of the truckThe paper work I needed the dealership say that they don't haveI have tried to resolve these issues with them
