The worst rehab ever was done by Restore Construction Corporation My year old aunt had a fire in her home of years on June 22, that required a rehab Her State Farm agent recommended Restore Construction Corporation for the storage of her furniture and clothing that had not been destroyed in the fire and to rehab the house He told her "they will do you right" She was told Restore Construction was on Angie's List My Aunt thought she was working with a credible construction company that was vetted by [redacted] and recommended by a trusted [redacted] agent Prior to the fire there were no building code violations After the rehab we had the city inspector come and now there are many building code violations because of the rehab done by Restore Construction Corporation My year old aunt's home is being destroyed by water because of the work Restore Construction did at her home When it rains water runs over the parapet wall damaged by Restore workers but not repaired Water comes under the door on the 2nd floor warping the floor and causing the door to rust Water comes under the basement back door because the outdoor sump pump was cemented over by the workers Water pipes were reconfigured to accommodate a different type of heating system without my Aunts' ok Her basement floor had to be reopened because you could hear the sound of water running under the concrete basement floor They had to break up the concrete floor to repair the pipe and they almost flooded the basement in the process because they were not able to cut the water off The basement constantly floods with nowhere to drain because the floor slants toward, the wall instead of the poorly working sump pump that was placed on a higher elevation in the basement This happened because when they excavated the floor in search of the water pipes in the front of the house the floor now is lower in that area 9/30/2015, a new crack as discovered on the wall of the second floor bedrooms and the skylight that Restore decided to cover up is now leaking I still have not mentioned all of the despicable things this despicable Restore Corporation did to my year old aunt because they are too many to list
Restore Construction, Incis a step above the rest After an untimely fire on New Year’s Eve 2015, Restore, from the beginning, was there to comfort us during the night of the fire and walk us through the rebuilding of our home, which included dealing with the insurance company and then the construction process When I was running around frantic during the night of the fire, Restore thankfully took charge of our case That night, Restore even made hotel accommodations for us so that we had somewhere to stay After the fire was extinguished, Restore’s board up personnel secured our home and made sure everything was safe Restore even came out the next morning, on New Year’s Day, to begin the pack out of our belongings As the construction work began on our house, Restore’s construction team assisted us in every way possible from choosing materials to offering suggestions on how to make our house look more contemporary Most importantly, anytime we spoke with one of Restore’s other staff members, they were always patient with us and available to answer our questions, which helped to alleviate a lot of our stress during this nerve-racking time I would definitely recommend Restore to anyone who needs any type of home fire restoration services
