This office has been deceptive in the way they get new patients. I called them to make a routine dental appointment for my 15 year old son, cleaning and x rays, which are well-care appointments and we get two per year, with no additional cost through my [redacted] insurance.When they asked if I had insurance, I said yes, through [redacted]. I asked them if they were in my network, since I didn't want to pay anything outside what my insurance would pay in-network. They said YES.I'm now getting a bill for $144 (after my insurance has already paid them all it should have cost in-network), and it's the out of network fee. If they would have been in-network, they would have agreed to the price [redacted] would set and would have gotten paid that amount. I would never had taken my son to them if they were going to bill us EVEN MORE for the appointment being out of network, which they were clearly deceptive about.They are now insisting I pay the $144 additional fee. They were deceptive in the way they got us into their office, intentionally or unintentionally.
