wanted silver fillings with my receptionist, but this was not relayed to the dentist. Tooth colored fillings are covered under his insurance policy, though at a silver filling price. I placed tooth colored fillings because they are less sensitive and more conservative to the teeth. At no time while I was placing the fillings did the patient say he wanted silver. We did in fact call the patient to resolve the issue, but could never connect. My receptionist said he called once and asked me to call him. I told her to credit his account. The last I heard was that she called and left a message that he now had a credit, and to give her a call. She says he did not call back. The complaint states that the patient will be happy if the "overcharges" are removed from his account and he gets a zero balance. I will be happy to zero his balance. Because he had a $7.00 credit, I will send him a check for $7.00. Sincerely,[redacted]
