I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

I have attached supporting document(s) regarding [redacted]'s  transaction. Initially we took the 2006 [redacted] into our inventory approximately 60 days prior to Mr. [redacted]'s purchase. Upon getting the 2006 [redacted] retail ready in September 2014 we NYSI the vehicle along with...

other work we performed to get the vehicle ready for resale. During the NYSI process the OBD (onboard diagnostic test) was ran and the vehicle passed. When the vehicle was purchased in November 2014 we again NYSI the 2006 [redacted] initially it failed because a battery according to the OBD test. We then replaced the battery and re ran the OBD test and fully NYSI the 2006 [redacted]. I have attached each of these documents along with an RO (repair order) with the technicians notes. In addition to that Mr. [redacted] visited our service department approximately 3 weeks after taking delivery and we replaced a set of wiper  blades at no charge to the customer. The customer has not returned to our service department since. I have also attached a copy of the menu presentation at the point of sale. We understand that vehicles of any kind will need repair work and at an additional cost to the consumer we offered him a VSC (vehicle service contract). He declined it and signed off on declining the VSC. We are compassionate towards our customers problems but we cannot pay for the life cycle of any vehicles repairs. In close the vehicle wouldn't have passed the NYSI process if there were any EST problems at the point of delivery.

[redacted]

So this is a review based on my perspective of my father's purchase at this dealer. My father purchased a [redacted] from this dealer. Within 30 days the vehicle would not start and it left my father stranded unable to make an appointment at the Veteran's hospital. Apparently the vehicle was sold with an open recall and there was no permanent fix. So we wanted his money back. We were told they would only allow a trade for what we paid because this is something they would not sell on their lot and it would go to auction (needless to say it was on their website less than 10 days ago). We settled on a 2013 [redacted]. The salesperson [redacted], was less than professional, stating he would not replace the dry rotted tires and that the issue with the air pressure was "normal". Less than 45 days in the [redacted] of course my father is stranded again because one tire is flat and will not hold air. The lack of business ethics and professionalism discourages me to purchase a [redacted] in the future. The fact they said the [redacted] would not be sold on their lot after we turned it in really just shows the blatant lies they will provide to make a sale.
