Mark Besse Architect

In January 2016 I contacted the New York State Education Department Office of Professional Discipline. They tried numerous times to contact Mr. Besse and were unsuccessful until October 2017. At that point in time, he agreed to a 3 month suspension, 2 years probation and a $1500 fine. I... was advised by Mr. [redacted] to reach out once again to Mr. Besse to either refund us $1200 or supply our completed blueprints. I sent and email in October with my request notifying him that I would wait 30 days for a reply before I filed a claim in Small Claim Court. I heard nothing, I filed a complaint and was given January 23, 2018 as a court date. I received a $600 check from Mr. Besse in the end of November with a letter stating he would supply the other $600 in 2 weeks. Again, no 2nd check was received. On January 22, at 4:30pm, Mr. Besse showed up at our home with the check. I contacted the Troy City Court via email to withdrawal our claim.
