Ms.
[redacted],
We were glad
to be able to provide you with the purchase of your new vehicle. In the car
business in order to get your vehicle purchase funded, there are many moving
parts. I personally approved your deal on February 25, 2015; you signed your
contract on February 26th...

and took delivery of your new car. Next,
your car deal went to Finance in order to assist you in getting the financing
that you needed.
The
financing company initially kicked the deal back to us due to the fact that we
could not get the Human Resources department at your place of business to call
us back with verification of employment, a very important step to the financing
source.  It took them a couple of weeks
to respond. Also the financing source required that you participate in a
“welcome call” and they had a difficult time reaching you.
On March 19,
2015, we were able to get the funding for your vehicle and today, March 27th, we
received your registration.  You will
receive a call to come and pick up your registration and tags, or you can just
come by and pick it up from our Receptionist in the showroom.
We do not
always have these kinds of issues come up when financing a vehicle, but
sometimes there are things that come up that are out of our control and we must
work through in order to complete the process.
Please let
me know if you still have any concerns, as I very much want you to be a
completely satisfied owner.
Regards,

Hello,That was not the agreement.  This is separate from that accounting or deal they are talking about.  The first agreement before I gave the $7000 was I believed either $100-or $120.  Then the day I met with [redacted] and fave my $7000 to accounting, I brought up this onstar that the minimum when I called was $200.  And so I was told and on paper another separate paper that another amount will be added so the total would be $200.  I gave them $7000 as down and they could not honor that $200.  It has nothing to do with this other deal they are talking about.  I could still vividly remember that I would get that $200 check within that year 2013 or at least early of 2014 but I did not.  The verbal and written agreement I had when I met with [redacted] was a total of $200 not $150.Thank you.[redacted]Complaint: [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:On December 30th when the contract was conformed, [redacted] assured me that [redacted] allowed Casa Chevrolet as a premier [redacted] dealership to add items such as warranty on top of the auto loan check's maximum value which I did not believe but took his word on it because he appeared to know what he was talking about.  On January 2nd, he called me saying that [redacted] refused the check but he asked that I contacted the bank because the bank required that I asked for the increase.  I called the bank immediately and the bank said the total value of the check already included all additional items.  On the day of the contract conformation, I told [redacted] that the original loan was $27,500.  But I was successful in getting the bank to raise it to $30,000.  I was unsure of the additional increase but believed [redacted] because he was the professional.  When I called [redacted] and told him that I was unsuccessful in getting the increase, he said he needed me to come in then and resign the contract to remove the add-on's.  I said that was not the contract.  [redacted] then said he would see what he could do and he would call me.  I did not receive any call back from him until the morning of January 3rd telling me to pick up my Jeep because he missed the promo end date which was January 2nd.  Without the call, I assumed that everything was still in order.  Instead, the deal fell through because the dealership failed to honor my contract which was conformed days before the expiration of the promotion. On January 12, [redacted] texted me saying that "The only way to use your [redacted] blank check to purchase a vehicle would have been for hem to give you about $30,000 at your request or for you t agree to come in and resign the paperwork at 30,000 even.  You refuse to do so when I requested you do that on the second and said you didn't think you even wanted the vehicle any longer because the transport was broken down in route.". Based on this verbatim text message, it clearly demonstrates that [redacted] knew the limit of the check was $30K which was what I kept declaring.  Not only did Casa Chevrolet, a proclaimed [redacted] premier dealership, not honor a contract under the Uniform Commercial Codes; it also employed a "bait and switch" tactic that would have worked to its advantage if I were successful in securing additional funding.

[redacted],
I am sending
you out a check in the amount of $150.00 which is the amount on the OnStar agreement
that is in your file. This will be for the six months following your initial
six month free trial.
It is true
that you should have received this check...

prior to the end of your free trial. I
have checked with our accounting firm and apparently it was added to the deal
after your initial paperwork was done and accounting did not have it scheduled
for the six month timeframe.
I certainly would
like to extend my sincere apology for this event, and want you to know that we
do strive to make our customer’s buying experience as clean and error free as
possible.
Should you
need to be in contact with Mark’s Casa Chevrolet in the future, I hope I can
handle your inquiry personally so you don’t experience the frustration of not getting
the answers you need.
Sincerely,
