I had brake work done at this shop earlier this year or last fallI took the truck back for inspection because I heard a noise that sounded front brake issueThe problem was a caliper bolt broke off or fell out allowing caliper to flop up and downIt was secured with new bolt with no charges for serviceThe week of May 1st, I scheduled oil change and lubeI asked also to have grinding noise checkedThe noise was rear brake caliper issueBecause I did not have a receipt for the earlier brake work performed, I was informed their recommendation was to replace the rear calipers and rotorsThe rotors they say needed replacing because they were out of toleranceThe front and rear rotors were replaced during first brake workI also thought the calipers were replaced or rebuiltThe old calipers failed to perform and would not release the pads, causing unnecessary wareI have replaced the calipers and the rotors are goodThey also recommended I have an intake manifold vacuum leak fixedThe total estimate for new brake work and intake manifold repair was about $I did not agree with this because I felt they should have repaired or replaced the calipers during first brake workThey will not see me ever again

I brought my vehicle into Pro Max on a Tuesday for $for a Catalytic converter, $if it needed both I called Tuesday night before closing and was told it wasn't my converter but something else Didn't get a call back until the vehicle was ready on SaturdayThis was after I called on Thursday to be told they got busy and didn't get a chance to work on itAnd after I called Friday right before closing to be told again they were not able to work on it Finally, Saturday around 11AM I called again to check again on my truck and was told he was just getting to it Two hours later I was told it was ready I asked how much because I had no idea how much and what they did, and was told He hadn't added it up yet When I got in to pick up the vehicle, I was handed an bill for $1, I never authorized $1,worth of work or was given the chance to accept or decline the work they did I would advise anyone thinking of bringing their vehicle to ProMax on Mountain Hwy to find ano

Want to start off by saying I don't typically write reviews however in this case I don't want this type of situation to happen to anyone else so I will take the time to do soPlease do not bring your vehicle to this place! I chose to go to this place only because it was between my home and my office and they had OK reviews with only some of them bad onlineI took a chance, I dropped my car off here on a Thursday night so that way they can start on it Friday morning or Saturday which they're openFriday morning I walk in to bring the keys spoke with a gentleman behind the desk and I was told that I would get a call as soon as they took a look at itNow I brought my car in for a very specific reason and that was to have a part replacedSo I did not need anyone to take a look at it, I just needed that part replaced and had adequate money to do soBut what the hell I waitedFriday I get no callSee the car hasn't moved from its spotSaturday I get no call, and the car still has not movedSunday I do a dri(again because this place is between my office and my home) and I see the car has moved but the window is down and the shop is closed! Luckily it didn't rain that day, however Monday forecasted rainThey are closed on Monday's!!!! I ended up having to call the Tacoma store which is open on Monday in order to have them reach out to someone in charge to get them out there to close my window before the rain startedBy the time I got off of work I did see that the window was closedTuesday Morning upon them opening, I give a call to find out if there is any water damage and to see if any work was going to be done on my carThey stated there was no water damage and they were starting on it that day and I would get a callGuess what didn't happen, I didn't get a call! By Wednesday morning I'm pretty upset give a call as soon as they're open and speak with a gentleman behind the desk and ask has anything been done to my carHis answer, "we're going to move some things around and start on that today and hopefully you should have it this afternoon." At this point I decided to cut my losses and let him know that I will be there to pick up my vehicle shortlyNow all this time the shop did not communicate with me, didn't state that they were behind on cars, short on employees, or upon accepting the vehicle say hey we're not going to be able to get this looked at it for a week or twoNone of that happened absolutely no communication terrible customer service and I wouldn't wish that on the worst person I will never go back to this place, as no one should!
