[redacted] will pick a home inspector from the Montgomery County MD Consumer Affairsapproved list of Montgomery County home inspectors.2. We will jointly engage this inspector to inspect contracted work only. The inspector’s fee is to be paid in advance and in full upon initiation of the inspection. Those fees are to be split equally between both parties. 3. The inspector will identify a list of deficiencies that exist beyond what would normally beexpected from a project built 10 years ago. This inspector will also return to inspect said repairs once they have been addressed. 4. MARK IV agrees to affect repairs within 2 weeks of receipt of the inspection report at no cost to[redacted]. 5. Upon acceptance by the home inspector of these repairs, any and all obligations between bothparties shall be deemed complete and satisfied. 6. This agreement is binding and final for all parties. 7. I am rejecting this response because:
It still fails to cover all of the problems. Here is what we are willing to accept:1.
[redacted] will pick a home inspector from The Montgomery County MD Consumer
Affairs approved list of Montgomery County home inspectors.
2. We
will jointly engage this inspector to inspect ALL AREAS OF THE HOUSE, including
those shown in the photos that were submitted with the complaint [roof,
kitchen, dining room, living room, upstairs hall, master bedroom, bathroom and
closet, hall bathroom, office]. The inspector's fee is to be paid in advance
and in full upon initiation of the inspection. Those fees are to be split
equally between both parties.
3. The
inspector will identify a list of deficiencies that exist beyond what would
normally be expected from a project built 9 years ago. This inspector will also
return to inspect said repairs once they have been addressed.
3. MARK
IV Builders agrees to affect repairs within 2 weeks of receipt of the
inspection report at no cost to [redacted].
4. Upon
acceptance by the home inspector of these repairs, any and all obligations
between both parties shall be deemed complete and satisfied.
5. This
agreement is binding and final for all parties.
