As I previously stated, we are happy to have a technician come out to address any concerns with our work and if needed take care of the fascia seams [redacted] is not satisfied with but we are not responsible for the underground pipes freezing and plumbing work needed. Since [redacted] stated she did not want us back to her home she only wanted money refunded, I offered [redacted] $175.00 in place of us coming back to re-inspect and possibly working on the fascia metal. I explained to her that we would prefer to come back to take care of any issues with our work but if she preferred we would offer this amount because that is what it costs our company to have a technician come back out to re-inspect. We strive to make every customer satisfied and happy even when we are not at fault, that is why I offered these options. We are still happy to come back out to address the seams in the fascia OR provide $175.00 in place of coming back to [redacted]'s home. Thank you for your assistance.Karen F[redacted]

As [redacted] stated, our company installed new fascia metal capping on her home 9/29/2014 and 12/18/2014. This work involved removing the existing gutters, installing new fascia metal capping and then re-installing the existing gutters (with the original pitch). She paid us $425.00 for each service....

We received a call from her on 1/26/2015 informing us that her basement has water and she thinks it is due to the gutters not being pitched right. We sent a technician out on 1/28/2015. The technician found some overflow of water on the gutters and informed [redacted] we would come back to increase the pitch of the gutters but would need to wait till warmer temperatures because everything is frozen. He also informed her that the downspout was not connected to the underground drainage pipe and that could be a cause of the basement flooding and that he did not feel there was enough overflow from gutters to cause the flooding. He suggested having a licensed plumber come out to inspect the basement problem. We waited for warmer weather. We returned to her home on 3/8/15 to re-pitch the gutters and found them filled with ice. Please note that gutters need to stay clear at all times because they are meant to shed water not retain it. When they water tested they found the pitch of the gutters was not causing overflow of water but that because ice and snow were still in the gutters some water was overflowing through the existing holes and existing spikes and farrells in the gutters. They attempted to explain this to [redacted] but she refused to listen and called the office to complain and the office scheduled both the original technician who estimated the work and the technician who was out to diagnose the problem on 1/28/2015 to go back out to [redacted]'s home the next day 3/9/2015 to re-inspect. On 3/9/2015 they found the water to be flowing from the gutters properly and there was no water in the basement at that time. They also noted inside the basement the sump pump was not plugged in. I realize it is not fun to get water your basement and many people had this problem the past winter. However, our work is not the cause of the water in this basement. In summary, it sounds as though the pipe froze and that is why it ended up needing replacement as [redacted] stated in her complaint "I had to pay a contractor to dig up the ground and replace the pipe and reconnect the line outside for the sump pump everything was frozen". Please also keep in mind that this time frame is when we had over 60 days below freezing temperatures which was a record AND there was no evidence or mention of any attempts from the homeowner to control the ice in her gutters to keep water flowing properly. Calcium blocks, solvents, or heat tape are some examples of was to address ice build up in gutters.I spoke to [redacted] on 6/25/2015 and she shared her concerns and I explained everything I wrote above. She stated she wanted us to to pay her $425.00 for the cost of the contractor who replace the pipe and reconnected her sump pump. She also stated that she had drips on the gutters and was not happy with the way some of the seams looked on the fascia capping we did.  I explained that we are happy to have a technician come out to address any concerns with our work and if needed take care of the seams but that we are not responsible for the underground pipes freezing and needed work. She stated she did not want us back to her home she only wanted the money. As a courtesy,  I offered [redacted] $175.00 in place of us coming back to re-inspect and possibly working on the fascia metal. I explained that we would prefer to come back to take care of any issues with our work but if she preferred we would offer this amount because that is what it costs our company to have a technician come back out to re-inspect. We strive to make every customer satisfied and happy even when we are not at fault, that is why I offered these options. I asked her to think about how she wanted us to proceed and did not hear from her again. We are still happy to come back out to address the seams in the fascia OR provide $175.00 in place of coming back to [redacted]'s home. Thank you for your assistance.Karen F[redacted]

Great staff, great craftsmanship.Steve, the on site supervisor was very helpful. We could not be home so he sent pictures to my phone several times during the day to keep me updated.could not of asked for more.

A representative from the roofing company came out for an estimate. Two weeks later, I receive a call from a HVAC contractor who stated the roofer told them I may need a new central air unit. After talking to the HVAC contractor, he is friends with the rep from the roofing company and they belong to a club together. I think it was unprofessional for the rep to give out my number to another contractor, especially when it was a buddy of his. How does the roofer know if I need an air conditioner or not. He should just worry about his own work. I'm sure he's getting compensated somehow for getting his buddy from the club work.
