Mark Jones

Mark Jones replaced my roof starting on August 8,2020. He and his crew finished, if that’s what you would describe it as, 24 days later. The weather was hot, but rain was only a factor on two days during that time period. I’m writing this on January 21,2022. The roof already is leaking on a part that Mark personally did the work on himself. I know this because he “ is the only pet on his crew that does the work on flat roofs “, and I personally watched him doing the work. He can’t be reached to do repairs that should be covered by the warranty he provided. This is due to him being incarcerated at this time, but he doesn’t return any type of request to communicate to begin with. One of his workers sexually harassed my wife, I found drug paraphernalia left by his workers, and his workers stole items from my shop that is in the same property. These issues arose after his crew had already removed the existing shingled roof and I thought they would finish up and be out of my life soon. After all, it only took two days to remove the old roof, and I couldn’t chance not having the job completed. He had already cashed the down payment for the job and I had bought the materials myself. But as previously stated, the nightmare had only begun. I would never wish this experience on any home owner. We work hard to pay for our homes and when we need work done and can’t do it ourselves, we are left to hire people to do it for us. I hope someone sees this story by researching this man before hiring him. I wish I had done research on Mark Jones before I hired him.

Jones is a roofing contractor. He and his crew replaced my roof in August of 2019. My roof has been leaking for months and I have contacted him via text, telephone and email and he will not return my calls, text or emails. The roof has caused damage to my home including water damage on the ceiling of a room that was recently repainted and additionally, water damage to a wood floor.

Mr. Jones work is supposed to be warrantied, but apparently he does not since he will contact me to resolve the issue.
