I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Before I am willing to accept this I am going to ask what am I suppsoed to do in regards to my engine light being on since day one which I had taken to you since day one and all you do I say nothing is wrong and just clear then engine light and reset it. every time im going to go through emissions its not going to pass. are you guys not going to fix that because this has been something that has been happening since day 1 under warranty and that I had to keep taking in every week and you guys insisting that there was nothing wrong. Also what am I supposed if the compressor goes out again the same time next year for the third time? why is it so hard to try and work with me and put me in a different vehicle it does not need to be brand new or anything I do understand it has to be within my means but honestly how do you think your goodwill is going to solve this issue it should not even be titled as a goodwill because this has been a repetitive an ongoing issue and I keep having to come and complain on the Revdex.com for you guys to even do something. if you look at my history I have literally gone in several times about ten to be exact and thats not the total amount including the times I had gotten repairs from other companies which I do have documented as well if you would like to see those. this car is obviously defective and its not fair that I have to pay the price for a car you sold me knowing it was a problem car that I am quite sure was not inspected properly or detailed properly before you sold it to me because you guys had just gotten it on the lot as the seller [redacted] has specified to me the day we came in to buy which also insisted and swore that the car was  not in an accident but I find out was a week later after I forced him to give me the car fax . this to me in my eyes is just taking the simple way out which wont help you because im quite sure we will have to go through this again and im not going to let this go that easy. so can you please be reasonable and have a better solution.

Regards,

We are absolutely willing to help. We have helped everytime you have asked. We have shown good will. Trading in the car is an option but YOU have to qualify for a new loan and fit into the guidleines of the lender. We are not the lender. It is all based on credit, down pymt and loan structure. The vehicle is pre owned and items will go bad on every car. We are NOT and have NEVER been obligated to fix it but we have everytime. We do not deserve to be taken to Revdex.com everytime your car breaks down. We have a perfect rating because we are family owned and help everytime we can.  We do not own the [redacted], you and the bank do. Again I feel like we are showing our willingness to help by charging you $0 out of pocket. We eat the cost of the parts and labor everytime. 99% of dealerships would tell you sorry. I hope this helps AGAIN we will fix the problem with the vehicle you are speaking about. As far as check engine light we put it on a computer to diangose it. The only time we see check engine light issue was 8-3-12 and 12-5-12 it was an evap code and gas cap needed replacing and we did that. The vehicle has over 100,000 miles. You are more than welcome to bring vehicle in. We will do the repairs at $0 cost to you. Revdex.com we are doing everything to help her.

Mark mitsubishi at this time would be willing to diag and repair a.c. at no charge to customer. This is a one time goodwill.Repair will have 12 month 12,000 warranty.Vehicle would need to be drop off for diag. and repairs at are new location in phx. 1901 e. bell road.Thank you [redacted] service...

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I told them on my first visit that the $6000 for any trade in is what brought me in and even after choosing the [redacted] I wanted was not told that the commercial on the radio did not include that model.  Only after emails telling me of the [redacted] and giving them the information for financing and met with the finance manger that was informed of it.  He admitted that the commercial did not state and models were not included.

Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I refuse to keep repairing the same issues at the same time every year when it is at the peak of heat in [redacted]. Since the 3rd day of purchase I had asked to get a different vehicle because of the engine light coming on the first day I drove it home and it still til this day it is still on I had to go through a big issue when I had to renew my tags just to keep the light off and pass emissions. this car has several recalls and several major issues that keep coming back. if I take the repair again this time I can gaurantee next year one month after the warranty is up again I will be writing to you again that it went out. So at this point I need them to give me another vehicle I dont care if it is the same payment amount I do not want further issues with this car. I do not have the time or finances to keep repairing this vehicle any longer enough is enough im quite sure if they were in the same predicament they would of went above and beyond til someone did something for them but apparenty they dont  care since it is not happening to them. [redacted]i need this issue resolved by trade in ASAP ![redacted] being without air and my daughter red and drenched in sweat is unacceptable this needs to be handled immediately !

Re:  ID# [redacted]

Please accept this as a response to the complaint filed by [redacted].

[redacted] did visit our dealership and test drive a new 2015 [redacted]. At the time we were unaware that he was here on the $6,000 trade in promotion.

Once he brought that to...

our attention we did clarify what vehicles qualified and which did not. As the ad states “ Please visit [redacted] for full details” the disclaimer on the site reads, “All prices plus tax title license and dealer documentation fee. New car prices include manufacturer's rebate. Offers may not be combined with any other offer, promotion, pricing, or incentive. $6,000 minimum trade in special limited to vehicles in new car display area. Not all new vehicles qualify for $6,000 minimum trade in. Dealer retains all rebates on all promotional pricing  See dealer for compete details. Dealer not responsible for typographical or photographical errors. All vehicles and offers subject to prior sale and program termination without notice. Prices do not include dealer adds or reconditioning fees. Not everyone will qualify for certain promotions.  Dealer retains all rebates on all promotional pricing

In response the statement made by [redacted] that we tried to show him cars that he did not want, we did show him and offer the vehicles that qualified for the promotion.

In response to the statement made by [redacted] that he believes that we intended to mislead and disappoint customers, nothing could be further from the truth.  As a business that thrives and relies on customer service we take great pride extending the best customer service.  Our model is that without great customer service business will not meet it’s peak potential. There was nothing ever done to intentionally mislead or disappoint [redacted].

We did offer [redacted] additional money, while not $6,000, for his trade in as an attempt to keep him happy. We cannot offer more than what the ad states.

If [redacted] would like to purchase one of the designated vehicles we will indeed offer the $6,000 trade in promotion. If [redacted] would like to pick out another vehicle that does not qualify for that promotion, we will be happy to extend the lowest advertised price to him.

The remedy [redacted] is seeking (The $6,000 trade in on a non qualifying unit and also taking the rebates) is not available on the vehicle he picked out and it is also a larger discount that what the ad states.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Review: I showed interest in a used Mitsubishi Outlander Sport advertised on their website for 11995,--$. They offered me $7000 for my trade in vehicle, but still wanted $ 8500 on top of that. This adds up to $ 15500; more than 30 % over the advertised price. I understand this as false, criminal advertising and I want them to accept my offer for this vehicle which is the $ 7000 for my trade in and an additional $ 4000; which is a VERY fair offer.

I also think they did not agree with the deal because of my [redacted], and I am thinking to file a claim with the federal EEOC.Desired Settlement: I want to buy a vehicle close to the advertised price and I think I made a fair offer.

Other consumers should be warned because of their business practices.

Response:

Good morning. This customer did a chat on our website. I have attached the transcript. We cannot accept every offer from every customer. We do our best to make a deal, sometimes we cannot agree on price and or trade allowance. Please let me know if you need anything else from us.

Consumer

Response:

The response of this company is not acceptable. At this time I have my lawyer research for legal steps because of false advertising by this company.I will also file a complaint with the Federal EEOC for discrimination because of my national origin.I expect the Revdex.com to get way more involved in this process, and warn customers about the VERY questionable business habits of Mark Mitsubishi. If they agree, to my proposed deal with 7000$ for my trade in and additional payment of $ 3500 for the 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, I am willing to settle. Otherwise I will fight this through all legal instances.I would prefer getting response from the CEO of Mark Mitsubishi, that can see the bigger picture of this case. A response from a online sales rep might not be enough. [redacted] Werner Schroedl

Business

Response:

Good morning. We are selling the car for the exact advertised price. We gave our best offer up front. We cannot discount any further NOR give any more for trade in allowance. I am confused. Why would this be not acceptable to close the case. If the vehicle is out of customers budget, Why are we held responsible to give a bigger discount if not possible? I want this case closed please. We have done NOTHING wrong here. We are honoring advertised price. Tax title license and doc fees are above and beyond the price of the vehicle. Just like it is at EVERY dealership. Price plus tax title license and doc fees.

Very nice guy! Helped me get this amazing vehicle.

Mark Mitsubishi Phoenix went above and beyond to help me get into a new car. I was in a bit of a struggle with ridiculous negative equity and Mark Mitsubishi did everything in their power to ensure I was able to walk away happy. Working with Brandon, Adam, Bruce, and Dylan truly made this a wonderful experience! This is how car dealerships, sales representatives, and finance representatives should treat their customers!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ANYWHERE ELSE! MARK MITSUBISHI HAS YOU COVERED!!!

Review: Mark Mitsubshi advertised they would give a minimum of $6000.00 for a trade in regardless of condition for any automobile in their stock. My first visit with [redacted] at the dealership I informed her that the only reason I had come in was the advertisement of the trade in. I picked out the car, and filled out the credit forms. which was told they would have no problem getting me the credit. Then when I returned and met with the credit manager was informed the vehicle I had chosen did not qualify and admitted that the advertisement did not specify on the SUV and some others did, but not the one I had agreed on and was looking forward to having. Then attempted to get me to choose one that I did not like or want,I believe that this was false and misleading advertising with the whole attempt to get people in the door and then disappoint them and up sale or purchase another vehicle. I hope you can get the dealership to resolve my issue, allowing me the advertised amount for trade in and any dealer incentives advertised by manufacture also not mislead others as they did me in the future.Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Honor the advertised trade in of $6000.00, plus the incentives for the vehicle I choose.

Review: Hi my name is [redacted] and I am writing to you because I have had the most horrible first time car buyer experience. I have literally been through a huge nightmare for the past two years ever since I bought my car from Mark Mitsubishi of [redacted]. In July of 2012, I bought my first official car which was a 2007 [redacted] from this dealer. The day I drove it home off the lot the engine light turned on and still to this day has stayed on my car. Then I also realized that the interior was not detailed and very dirty and stained and the driver seat panel on the side was broken. I took it back the next day because that was a big problem in my eyes the cleared the engine light and it turned back on a week later after they said it was nothing wrong with it. They also had promised to detail the car since they seen that it was not clean that never happened as well as to fix the broken driver seat side panel. This kept happening and they said they would take care of the problem. I also started having problems with the electrical on the left passenger side door with the window button. I have never had anyone sit on that side so I didn’t understand why it would be acting up. They fixed that but then a month after warranty expired from when I had bought the car the window electrical went out again and they said it was a completely different problem from the first time and would not be covered so they did not fix it. Later the problems with the a/c began. I had to go back multiple times before they said there were problems with the a/c compressor when they insisted the a/c was fine. I kept getting a bunch of excuses as well as with the warranty being expired. So I started to complain to them as well as the Revdex.com. My daughter should not be sweating in the back seat if the a/c is on full blast in the car. They kept telling me that it was blowing to standards. Then once I complained they said the compressor was bad so then I had to fight for them to replace that which they finally did. Then I had to replace the water pump at my own expense a short time later. This month in august 2014 the compressor went bad again and I called they said it only had a 12month warranty which it was over by a month and I also had to replace the water pump again. I have insisted since the beginning that they have sold me a lemon vehicle and would have liked to pick another car the first week I had bought the car. They said it was not going to be possible. They insisted all the many times I have been up there that the car is fine it’s just a problem car because it was sold at high mileage. If you knew it was a problem car at high mileage why would you sell the vehicle in the first place? My grandfather’s car that has almost 200,000 miles on it has not had not even as close to as many problems as I have had with this vehicle. He’s only had two minor electrical issues with doors. His is a 2002 mine is a 2007 with only 124,000 miles on it and I get it maintenanced regularly so I don’t understand why that would be a valid excuse as to why I keep having the same problems with this car. I could understand if it was different things going on but it’s the same exact problems. I feel so taken advantage of being a fulltime student, mother, and employee every penny counts with me as well as my time and I just feel that this situation was taken advantage of because I needed a car at the time. Please help me I don’t know what to do at this point once this car gets another problem I will not be able to fix it due to money issues at this time. This will cause me to lose everything including my job and I just cannot afford this especially having a daughter. We have no a/c right now in [redacted] where it has record breaking temperatures of heat and I do not have 800.00 dollars to pay to get another a/c compressor. I spent my last 425.oo on the water pump I had to replace. Paying that on top of a 375.00 car payment each month is not convenient at all. This is completely unacceptable for me to have to complain as many times as I have with this car but this is the last straw. I would love for them to put themselves in my shoes.Desired Settlement: I would want to be able to trade in this vehicle for another car regardless of circumstances at this point credit score etc and not be financially responsible for remainder of monies owed on this vehicle any longer I have put way too much money in service on top of my car payment. They should know they are wrong at this point.

Low pressure. Flexible. Understanding. Human. Thanks

[redacted] and [redacted] were extremely helpful and great to work with. I couldn't be happier with the deal I got and I love my new car!!

My sales experience was very courteous and accommodating. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

The quickest and most efficient car purchase...ever!
Friendly staff and not pushy.
We explained what we wanted, what our situation was, and our terms, and they actually listened. Didn't try to up sell a bunch of unnecessary junk to front load the loan.
Financing terms were so close to where we wanted them, it wasn't even worth haggling over.
In and driving out in my wife's new ride in under three hours. Happy wife, happy life.
Brandon and the rest of the staff are awesome.
Highly recommend!

I recently pick up a used vehicle here a couple weeks ago, I have been searching and comparing prices on the web with varies of dealership. I got in touch with Brandon which was one of their internet sales rep. We email back and forth a few time as I had some questions with the vehicle I am interested in. We set up an appointment so we can discuss about my interest, I arrived there around 7pm. One of the rep said Brandon left for the day so I got in touch with another rep, no biggie. We discuss about what I wanted to do with my vehicle, we came to a deal, I was going to return this week to make the deal. Brandon emailed me thanking me for stopping in, I told him I would be in a couple of day to do the trade. I asked him a few question about the vehicle, any issues, accident etc. His respond was "the car is great with no issues at all". I said perfect I will be in tomorrow, we made another appointment. I arrived the following day to find out Brand left for the day again even tho we made an appointment, seems like Brandon doesn't exist and he just a virtual dummy to take the blame. We got set-up with the trade and left with another rep. When I got home I have found that the right side mirror doesn't fold in like the left and it flaps when I drive, very unsafe since I can not see my right side. I told it back to get it check out my the dealer, the GM said that they do not cover it since its not a safety concern. How is it not a safety concern when my right mirror is flapping around when driving? All in all DO NOT buy a vehicle from this place and DO NOT trust them. I will not be coming or referring anyone

Yesterday, 7/29/14, After repeatedly returning to the Glendale location to have the same problem fixed multiple times I engaged in a conversation with the service department manager [redacted] about customer appreciation and loyalty. During the conversation I let slip a non threatening, non directed "F" bomb by stating "See, after all that talk about customer appreciation and loyalty, it sounds like you're telling me to 'F' off." in response to him saying that since they were unable to provide the services when they were finished we should end our professional relationship. At this point [redacted] started raising his telling me that he can cuss too and asked if I wanted to go across the street. I then told him I didn't want to continue the conversation and to just go fix my truck which they now refused to fix. I am never going to this location to get threatened by their customer service representatives.

Went in for service on my 2009 [redacted] left with a 2010 [redacted]. Wasn't planning on trading my vehicle however [redacted] said and told us everything we wanted to hear. I got a better deal on my new car and was very comfortable and happy with my whole experience. This is my second vehicle I've purchased from Mark Mitsubishi and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new/used car.

[redacted] made my car purchase convenient & pain free. He helped me find a nice assortment of vehicles to choose from & provided me the information I needed to make a decision on my new vehicle. Thank you.
