The attached document was sent to *** *** at the Revdex.com in February. I don't know why it wasn't shared with the ***'s. However the document was sent directly to the ***'s on 03/30/2015. It is inappropriate to declare that we have not shared information with the ***'s when every effort has been made to do so. It is appropriate to note the timing on this declaration of lack of information follows our formal filing a demand for arbitration with AAA on 04/08/

We have submitted a complaint to the California Contractors State Licensing Board which requires mandatory arbitration
We thank the Revdex.com for their efforts to resolve this conflict but will now work with the CSLB.

Mr. [redacted] would not agree to AAA arbitration.  Mr. [redacted] has continued to proceed with his complaint via CSLB, who has clarified that we must proceed with arbitration.  Waiting for Mr. [redacted] to agree to arbitration.

We have been in contact with Mr. [redacted].  He is currently deciding if he is willing to use your organization for the arbitration as we requested.

Review: A landscape designer was hired to design our landscape project as we desired to transform our property to a more drought tolerant system. Mark Schroeder & Co. was hired to fulfill and implement the elements of the design. The original contract stated the work would take about 10 weeks but was terminated by Mark Schroeder & Co. after about 6 months. The primary issues of concern are:

1. Many plants in the design were never planted

2. Plants not in the design (and not on the substitution list) were planted

3. Plants were not planted according to the design

4. Rough and fine grading were not done to removed rootballs, plumbago and tree roots which now threaten the new plants

5. Fence in pool area was constructed with the top board flush with the fence which will promote wood rot

6. Lighting installed has exposed wires throughout the property

7. Lighting installed has exposed plug which shorts out when raining or hit by sprinklers

8. Flagstone patio does not meet "good workmanlike quality" or professional construction standards and is unsightly

9. Lighting fixture in pool area is black but installed with white screws (4)

10. Contract called for a larger boulder of the same color as existing boulders (brown not gray)

11. Fence in pool area lacks complete trim board

12. Some plants have died

13. Contract requires stakes to be installedDesired Settlement: We will need to hire a landscape contractor to correct and complete this work. We request that Mark Schroeder & Co. pay for the professional completion of this project above and beyond what is owed on the current contract.
