These jokers are thieves
Let me tell you what will really happen (as it happend to me) when you call Mark's PlumbingThey will charge you no less than $for walking through your doorOnce they know that they have in for $they will give you an estimate for DOUBLE what other companies will quoteAt least this is the way it worked out for me
Mark's plumbing was quick to take complete advantage of my situationAll I needed to do was repair a simple lead pipe flange on my rental house toiletI am a disabled veteran, combat wounded, victim of the housing bubble burst that put me in a house that became worth 20% less than the price I purchased it for, a year after I purchased itMy work moved me out of state and I found myself having to rent the house for less than what I pay to own itThe last thing I can handle is a company trying to rob me, like Mark's Plumbing didFor that simple flange job, AFTER they had their $"walk through the door" price, they told me it would cost $600!! Luckily, a friend caused me a second opinion
Mark's was clearly trying to take advantage of me as a disabled veteran, who doesn't know about plumbingI figure this, because I was told to get a second estimateThe second estimate was quoted at under $total and that company would do it several days quicker
It turned out CHEAPER for me to pay a different company AND the $Mark's steals for giving an estimateOn top of that, the other company could do the job quicker
Bottom Line, these guys are a racket, Unless you have money to burn, don't waste your time

When I called Mark's plumbing uncertain about the nature of a problem with my furnace, he was gracious, efficient and skillful in both diagnosing the problem and facilitating skilled and virtually immediate repairI would call him in the future with any plumbing need that might arise

03/01/= Tom and Jim came out to our house to repair leaking plumbing under our kitchen sinkThey also installed new fixtures that we had purchasedThey showed up early and were friendly and professionalThere were a few "curveballs" due to the construction of our houseNo problem with these two pros...they had all the repairs and replacements done in a few hoursThey took the time to explain to us what the problem was, and how they were going to fix itNot only would I call them again if I needed to...but I wouldn't mind if they were our neighborsThat's how nice they both wereTruly a credit to their company and a testament of great service from Marks Plumbing Service
