The customer wanted after market installation of under the rail rub lighting put on her boatAfter market installation is not like factory installation there for will not be the same due to the toons already being present on the pontoon, not allowing accurate room to workAfter market installation is always difficult and never the same as factory, this was explained to the customerIn conclusion we installed the under the rail rub lighting on the boat to the best of our abilities and following all directions accordinglyTherefor we will not be refunding any of the purchase price

In reply to Jennifer [redacted] complaintWhen they dropped off her boat the stereo switch was broken and they accused us of breaking it, without argument we replaced it with a new oneAlso, they accused us of stealing their Bimini lightAs far as the rub rail lighting which is a factory product but NOT a factory installDue to rub rail lighting being installed after the pontoons are on, the mounting location could not be the same as a factory installationAlso, the plastic track for the rub rail lighting is able to expand and contract causing the plastic track not to stay flat, do to being screwed to a cross member without a solid surface to run the entire length of the pontoon boatThe connectors for the lighting were connected to the front of the boat were there is very little water splash compared to the rear of the boat were all the water splashedThere was a screw put in at every cross member to secure the lightingThey were very rude about the install and sat there belittling the Tech that installed itApparently knowing themselves what would have been the best way to install, making the Tech wonder why they did not install themselves because it is apparently so easy to doWe could make it look like it was from the factory for a considerable amount of time and materialsTo take off pontoons and reinstall them after lighting was in a factory locationWe tried to satisfy them at time of pick upThey could have left the boat for us to make right because now we knew their concerns, but we thought because they took the boat that our explanations of why we did what we did with the install that they were okay with itWe also said "if anything went wrong with the lighting we would be happy to fix it under warranty"So if they weren't happy they should have left the boat for us to have a chance to correct anything

I purchased a pontoon boat from Mark's Quality Marine in May The purchase price in the ad from their web site included a playpen coverThe boat was delivered in July and did not include the coverWe were told they just forgot to send it along on the deliveryThey looked for it for weeks and could not find the coverWe were then told they would have one made and delivered to us in 2-weeksAfter weeks we were told the manufacturer had not even started making the cover yetIn subsequent calls, we get the same responseMark's quality marine is unwilling to provide the contact information for the manufacturer so we are unable verify the status of the orderAs of months after paying for the boat, motor, cover, etc as listed in the ad and months after being told we would have the cover in 2-weeks, we are still without the paid for cover and no delivery date

We first discovered Avalon Pontoon boats from Mark's Quality Marine in Wautoma, WI at the Lake & Cabin Show Mark (***) and "Brett"(***) were more than happy to help us with the process to purchase our 22' Avalon Pontoon w a price tag of $37KThe following year, I contacted Mark to have some under rub rail lighting installed and warranty workI gave them ample time to get the lights ordered in, dropped the boat off on March 25th, and then an additional weeks to installWhen we picked up the boat from the marina, we looked over the work that had been completedThe lights were so poorly installed, it looked like an amateur installed themThey were not flush with the boat, they sagged in several spots and in the very back corner, on the left hand side, the nail was drilled in at the very edge of the wood, causing the wood to split.(see pics) If we were to hit any type of bump, that nail would most certainly fall outI requested both Brett and his tech to please come l

We rented a pontoon from this business and it was in a terrible conditionThe whole seats were torn, the horn didn’t workThey told us to honk the horn if we got stuck but the horn didn’t even workThere was moss and mold growing on the floorWe called right away and they said they didn’t have another pontoon to give usWe then tried to talk to someone in charge and the accountant Michele was rude and said *** *** was gone and no one was in chargeWe said don’t charge our account until we talk to *** *** and Michele stated “we will charge the account” we were ripped off and no one else should have to go through thisWe have pictures of the condition and a video of the non working horn
