This complaint is totally with out meritI believe the consumer had other motives for filing this complaintWe were called to look at his refrigerator which was under an extended warrantyThe diagnosis found the cabinet of the refrigerator had been twisted by sitting on a crooked floor for years
The consumer in fact had attached insulation foam above the door seal to try and help keep warm air out of refrigerator cabinetHe was told this would not be repairable as there was no way to untwist cabinetHe indicated he was in immediate need for a refrigerator, at which time I explained the only refrigerator I had in his price range was a HaierI didn't know the size of the Haier at the time of our conversation but explained I thought it was smallerHe said he wasn't worried because he was by himself and didn't need a lotI however called the shop and had measurements taken of the HaierIt was smaller and I showed him how smallHe again said he was okay with thatI told him we would bring the refrigerator in and he could look at it and was free to decline deliveryThe following day we delivered the Haier refrigerator and he looked at itWe explained the crisper bins were not in the refrigerator but he could buy them or we could supply them at our cost of $eachHe asked us to order them and was happy with the refrigerator at that timeThe following Monday he called office and told the secretary he changed his mind and wanted us to get the refrigerator and give him his $backHe was told *** was out of the office and would be contacted about the request and called back to settle the matterHe was contacted and told that to deliver the money and pick up of the refrigerator would have to wait until both *** and *** were available which would be that ThursdayWe received the Revdex.com complaint on Tuesday which was after our contact with him and delivery was agreed toThere was nothing done by ***'s Service Pro to warrant a complaintWe could have told him to deliver the refrigerator for his refund but did notWe have picked up the refrigerator and refunded his moneyThis matter in our eyes is closed to the satisfaction of our customer
