Travel Resorts of America received the above referenced complaint filed by the customerThank you for the opportunity to review the matter and respond Please be advised that the member signed a membership agreement that requires maintenance fees be paid on an annual basis for the term
stated in the agreementIn this case the annual maintenance fee of $is for an initial term of 20-YearsThe terms are outlined in section four (4) of the agreement titled “Type and Duration of Membership”Additionally, section seven (7) of the agreement states the member is required to pay annual maintenance fees regardless of whether, or how often, member uses the facilities and services While we are unable to cancel the membership, we understand circumstances can changeIn an effort to assist the member, when we spoke with them on February 15, 2018, we agreed to allow them to transfer the membership to alleviate future obligationsWhile TRA does not directly assist in membership sales, they may contact our Member Services department for help with the transaction at ###-###-####

In no way shape or form
did the resort inform me or the interested but of the option that were available to resolve the "suspended membershipAnd as far as the resort stating that I didn't file any complaints is untrueRather they choose to make formal note of my concerns is purely method by them not to be able to show faultI was contacted by one of their representatives and will be following up to try and resolve
