In response to the complaint, Marka LLC sold and installed the water Heater on 5/15/14. The water heater was installed and working properly at this time.  We informed the customer to please contact us for any warranty work on the water Heater as we are a factory warranty service provider. We...

were first informed that there was a problem with not enough hot water in December or 2014.  The customer explained the situation and we informed him that we would go out to the residence however if it was not a water Heater issue he would be responsible for payment.  We explained to the customer that something was crossing in the house to cause the hot and cold water to cross and cool off. The customer never called back.  We received a phone call and we explained to him again if it was not a water heater issue he would be responsible for our time. The customer then sent an email copy of his correspondence between the customer and his property management company in regards to an "ongoing" issue we did not have any knowledge of until December.  We once again offered to check water heater with the understanding that if it was not a water heater issue he would be personally responsible for any and all charges.  We spoke to the Property Management companies plumber and he was stating that the factory (in Tennessee) was telling him it could be a gas control valve but that was not a guarantee to fix the problem as one control valve had already been replace (we do not have any other information on as to when this was done).  We agreed to meet the Property Management Companies Plumber at the residence on 1/14/15 at 8:30am.  After checking the water Heater for proper operation, we found water Heater to be working properly and water to be at 142 degrees at kitchen sink, but had to turn valve off to air handler which uses hot water to heat the home.  Once we turned this valve back on the water temperature dropped immediately.  Therefore it is not a water Heater issue per factory, this is an issue with mixing of water passed the heater.  We have called and informed the customer/owner of this, and told him we would quote him pricing on repairing his issue.  We have called and left voice mail with no response. We will be sending the customer a bill for our time for trouble shooting the issue that was not related to the water Heater or covered by Water Heater Warranty.

Review: Marka LLC installed water heater in sept.2014 for $1500. since my tenant moved in,they have hot water issue hot water is not hot. my management co. find out problem with water heater and I email and I called [redacted] the same problem. they are not taking any action. it has been a month passed.Desired Settlement: Fix the problem within weekas of 1/9/14 ,I cannot my tenant wait for without hotwater.
