Market Cube Reviews (8)

It appears that Market Cube and Specpan are related as when I contact customer service at Specpan I sometimes get responses from Market Cube. I have been waiting for a $55.00 Amazon gift code since April 2019 to no avail. I called the phone number once and the person who answered sounded like they were half asleep, from another country, uninterested in my concerns and barely audible to the point that communication with this person was futile. I have been members with both of these survey groups for years, but it appears they have gone bad. I knew something was up when Specpan switched from Amazon codes to the "drawing entry" scam. I still get invites from both and I still write to customer service and get the "someone will contact you within 24 hours" response, but no one ever contacts me! I have been into these sites for a long time and have made hundreds of dollars so I just feel sorry for the newbies who don't know they have turned scam. My Points is good and honest... so far, and Product Report Card was the last time I redeemed from them which has been a couple of years. I have been looking for ways to contact their sponsors to let them know and the best way is through the advertising industry. Good luck Y'All! NO STARS By the way!

Review: Hi,

I have been a member of this company for several years and although they have paid the agreed compensation([redacted] Gift Card-$25) in the past this time they have not after repeated attempts by email, online-chat, and phone calls. The one time I have got a hold of a representative they told me I would get the $25 [redacted] Gift Card before the end of last week as you can see by this online chat:

I never recieved that $25 [redacted] Gift certificate they promised me and they say on their website at most 7-10 business days after requesting the reward. Well, it is a month later( I cashed out on 06/27/14). [redacted] Community(part of this company) has refused to respond to any coorespondence since the above online chat.

I am asking for the $25 [redacted] Gift Card and an additional $10 [redacted] Gift card for my time in contacting them and the Revdex.com, my time is not free.Desired Settlement: I am asking for the $25 [redacted] Gift Card I am owed and an additional $10 [redacted] Gift card for my time in contacting them and the Revdex.com, my time is not free.

Response:

I apologize for the delay in delivery of the [redacted] gift card; I'm still trying to determine why the card was delayed. It was sent out the day after I received the complaint, and I do see it was redeemed.I have forwarded the complaint to our Customer Service and Tech Support Team so this issue does not occur in the future, and if there is a delay, survey participants can get prompt, accurate information about the status of their redemptions.

Review: On 04/09/2014 I requested to be compensated for the surveys that I had completed. I also asked that my compensation should be sent to my new email address. My old email address was [redacted]. I have not heard form Market Cube LLC, and they always refuse to pay.Is there anything that you can do to assist me? Is it possible for you to close their business. These people are thieves.I completed these surveys under [redacted] and they are owned by Market Cube LLC.Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want to receive the $25.00 Amazon gift card that was promised to me.

Response:

The consumer contacted us because she was unhappy with receiving only 5 points, even though she maintains that she completed our survey and should have received more points. Normally people receive only 5 points if they are disqualified from a survey, for some reason. We replied to her that we would need more information in order to investigate the issue; we never heard back from her.The next time she contacted us, she asked to have her gift card sent to a different email address; however, she does not currently have enough points to redeem for a gift card and we responded with that message but again, did not hear back. In order for us to investigate this issue further, the consumer needs to respond to our requests for more information.

Review: I am a longtime survey site member. I am owed 24.60 and was trying to login and found out they totally wiped my account out. ive emailed them many times with no response. THEY ARE DOING THIS TOO MANY PEOPLE. they are commiting fraud and I want what I legally earned. surveypolice.com has many similar complaints. filing also with the ags office for consumer affairs in va.Desired Settlement: I want the money im owed and an explanation of why they are stealing from so many loyal members. thank you to the Revdex.com. please advise.

Response:

This issue was resolved with the consumer today; he was sent a gift card code for $25. We also communicated with him about how to correctly access his account, as it had not been closed.

Review: I do surveys for [redacted] which is owned by Market Cube for compensation. In this case I am owed a $25 [redacted] Gift Certificate that I was supposed to receive by email within 2 weeks after the cash out date (08/13/14). Over three weeks since requesting the [redacted] Gift Certificate and still have not received it. I contacted their online chat support on Tues (09/02/14) and they said I would receive it the next day which I did not. They would not respond to my second online chat on Weds (09/03/14) regarding the issue so I had no choice but to contact the Revdex.com.

Response:

I'm sorry for the delay. The gift card was sent just now. It seems your account was being reviewed (we randomly select accounts to screen for potential fraud) and that's where the process got hung up. Again, my apologies.

I apologize for the delay; a gift card was sent on 10/29/14. It looks our fraud department had requested more info from you and we didn't receive it, resulting in a delay. On our end, the issue is resolved.

Review: I redeemed 2500 points from my account on October 30, 2013 and was supposed to receive a $25 [redacted] gift card. I have contacted them by email numerous times (and unsuccessfully by phone) asking about the status of the gift card since I still have not received it. I keep getting excuses and they never follow through and get the problem resolved. Most of the time, they don't even bother responding to me at all.Desired Settlement: I expect to receive a $25 gift card for my 10/30/13 redemption without them trying to deduct more points for doing so. In checking my point balance today (4/29/14), it is 1350 and I expect it to remain so after sending the missing gift card.

Business

Response:

According to our [redacted] account, a $25 gift card was sent to the consumer's email address and redeemed on 1/24/14. From what I can see in our survey system, she has not redeemed any additional survey points and is not eligible for any other [redacted] gift cards at this point. Please confirm that the [redacted] gift card was received and redeemed on 1/24/14, as it shows on [redacted].com.

Consumer

Response:

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

I finally received an email directly from them stating that they sent the gift card in December, but I have been unable to verify it with my [redacted] account. I have asked them to let me know what the actual gift code was, so that I can verify it, but they have not responded to this request. Originally, they admitted to not sending the gift card because of an error with some survey points, so if they sent it, all I need to get this matter resolved is for them to send me the exact gift card code they claim they sent and then I can verify it with my [redacted] account.

Regards,

Business

Response:

Unfortunately, I do not have access to the actual [redacted] Gift card code number, as that is managed by [redacted]. All I can see on our [redacted] account is that a $25 gift card was sent to the email address [redacted], on 1/24/14 and it was redeemed. I'm sending the screen shot showing this information. If [redacted] has made an error and you did not receive the gift card or you did not redeem it as shown, I suggest contacting [redacted].

I don't necessarily agree with the response from the business, but it looks like I'll have to accept it. They weren't able to provide the information I asked for.
