I have plenty of negative feedback to provide. If there was a section to rate 1-10, 1 being EXTREMELY NEGATIVE, I would have rated your company a negative 10. First of all, when I received the initial interview for this company, I was never notified which position I was interviewing for (I applied for maybe 4 or 5 positions with the company). While in the interview I was still unsure of what exactly I would be doing and I was never told directly. Secondly, when I arrived for the "second interview", at first I was concerned why it was such a long interview process, 1-9p.m., never was I told that I would be leaving off-site, driving over an hour to a place I've never been, and knocking door-to-door on random strangers houses in neighborhoods I wasn't comfortable being in. I'm sure the company doesn't tell people this firmly and what they will be doing in hopes that's how they rope you in, or they just enjoy taking advantage of young students, but either way, this was not the position I would have applied for or seek out for a job and I'm extremely upset and traumatized by this experience. Especially since I was just thrown into something I wasn't comfortable doing without prior consent or knowledge. I notified the trainer that I wasn't interested in this type of marketing, but I still stuck with it throughout the day figuring it would get better, but I was wrong. Not only was I miserable in the sense of doing something I did not want to be doing, but I was also exhausted from not being fed, nor given any water, and sick from the intense heat. I was essentially kidnapped by your company, and driven hours away from home. I understand you have to work your way up in this company, but all of this should and NEEDS to be disclosed thoroughly before sending someone out in the field. I never once was told that I would be going to another city and knock on strangers doors? Thirdly, I was not allowed to have my phone on me. This is absolutely inappropriate and I had every person in my entire life, friends, family, & my fellow students, trying to contact me because they had no idea where I was for 8 hours. I was initially told I couldn't have my phone on me because they were afraid I was going to cheat on a test. That is an extremely poor excuse and should I had known that, I would've kept it in my pocket the entire time in case of an emergency, especially being gone for 8 hours. I have nothing against the training employees, they were very nice and friendly, this review is directed to the management and a very extremely poor explanation of job tasks. I will not recommend anyone to go to this company, and I will take any steps I need to explain my situation so this doesn't happen again to anyone else.
