Marketing Engineers Inc Reviews (3)

Mr*** *** is grossly misrepresenting the agreement and circumstances that surrounded the ending of this agreementMarketing Engineers, Inchas over satisfied clients over a years periodIt is unfortunate when an individual or company loses something due to their own bad judgment and
decisions and then lasses out at those who were trying to help them in the first place
Marketing Engineers does not wishes to respond in the same angry manner by which Mr*** has approached this matterThe following can be backed up by email, witnesses and other documentation and points out the items left out by Mr***
Mr*** has known MrC*** for over years and has spoken with him numerous times and written many emails applauding him and Marketing Engineers, IncThey met over years ago, when MrC*** was called in to help a company Mr*** was working for, that was “going under”. That is how Mr*** knows MrC***
Mr*** has written many emails and has had many conversations with MrC*** over the years and there was always only friendship and good will on MrC***’s behalfThere was however great concern about Mr***’s business abilities due to the failure of his other ventures Marketing Engineers is not in business to bail out bad decisions by bad management. Mr*** knew that he was underfunded and ill equipped to do his own project and wished to retain Marketing Engineers as a contractor to helpHowever, Mr***, prior to the agreement he describes, engaged Marketing Engineers to outline the creation of a database and a consumer app that was to interact with the database. Mr*** paid for and was very happy with the first agreement
Mr*** then stated he was looking for a 50+% discount for this job compared to what he was quoted by others and Marketing Engineers agreed to work with Mr*** as a contractorMr*** signed a agreement that clearly stated
a. CONTRACTOR and/or the CLIENT may terminate this Agreement upon days written notice with or without causeCONTRACTOR shall retain all payments previously delivered. The CLIENT agrees to pay CONTRACTOR for any services rendered prior to date of termination, immediately upon receipt of invoiceCONTRACTOR shall retain all product samples provided by CLIENT to CONTRACTOR for the purposes of providing samples, at no cost, and CONTRACTOR shall not be required to return any samples to the CLIENTCONTRACTOR shall also retain all payments previously delivered by the CLIENT to CONTRACTOR under this Agreement
The agreement is written so people and or companies can stop the agreement if they run out of money, have personal problems etc. It also allows Marketing Engineers to terminate an agreement when a client becomes unmanageable or hostile during the agreement. Which is the case here
Within approx days of signing, Mr*** began to experience personal challenges (outside the scope of this agreement) that lead to difficult and painful conversations dealing with Mr***, including Mr*** reaching out and berating and demeaning Marketing Engineer's programmers directly Marketing Engineers first response was to reach out and try and calm down the situation and discuss any issues Mr*** had. There are emails and phone records showing such efforts
When Mr*** refused to discuss the issue of “his actions” in a professional manner, Mr*** continued to become unmanageable began to send threaten type emails and leave angry voice messages
Mr*** also signed an agreement that:
dUpon termination of this agreement prior to the completion of this contract for any reason, the CLIENT hereby agrees to not, without the written consent of the CONTRACTOR, release any information related to this contract, its fees, the reasons for the engagement and/or the reason for the ending the contract, other than there was an agreement between the two parties during the contracted time and a service was providedThis part of the agreement shall survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement for a term of years
The simple result of this relationship was that Marketing Engineers chose not to continue to do business with Mr*** due to an “unmanageable” settingMarketing Engineers and MrC*** do not wish to disparage Mr*** and only wish him the best of health and hope that he finds someone who will be able to work with him to achieve his goalsUnfortunately, due to the situations surrounding our previous relationship that will not be happening with Marketing Engineers

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Mr. C[redacted]'s statement has zero truth to it. It is a completely fabricated lie.
First, we worked together for a company called [redacted]. in Corona CA well over 20 years ago. I was an employee there and had nothing to do with management. I have no idea if there "were going under" or not. I left them for other employment.
After that, Mr. C[redacted] and I lost all contact and we did not speak, email, phone, of have any other contact until 2015 when we reconnected on LinkedIn.
I have had no business venture failures in my career, ever. That is completely fabricated nonsense by Mr. C[redacted].
I was, and still am, fully funded to do the work I hired Kevin C[redacted] and his company Marketing Engineers, Inc. for. Funding was never an issue. I paid him 50 percent deposit of $12,000. Since they took our money and did not do the work I am actively seeking other developers to do the job. There was never an issue with funds or any personal challenges. This is more pure fabrication on his part.
I did not seek a discount from Mr. C[redacted], he volunteered it as a past friend. Used it to rope me in to his scam is more like it.
In summary he did not do the work he was hired for. When confronted about it, Mr. C[redacted] turned angry, condescending, and refused to communicate about how to fix it. When a refund we requested, he stated there will be none and I own nothing.
His reply is an example of the lies and deception that permeates the way this man and his company steal from people.

Sincerely,[redacted]

[redacted] and her [redacted] shop has misrepresented our agreement, the relationship and reasons for termination. Contrary to her statements, we did create a website, we did do numerous graphic renditions and we did set up a backed blog. We have over 20 years of business with no other Revdex.com...

referrals prior to Mrs. [redacted] making false accusations.
It is unfortunate that [redacted] has resorted to this kind of action. We do not wish to embarrass [redacted] by pointing out the many reasons for our canceling the agreement.  As a company we have agreements that are meant to protect both the client and us, the contractor. We do this so if the client has personal problem or runs out of money, they can stop anytime. It also protects us against rouge clients who become so unmanageable that we cannot continue to work with them.
Most of the time, issues can be worked out, but sometimes they cannot be worked out. It is unfortunate, but it does happen. When it does happen, which for us is less then 1 out of a 300 clients, we have to respond in order to protect ourselves from continued harassment.
Here is part of the contract that [redacted] and [redacted] signed.
CONTRACTOR and/or the CLIENT may terminate this Agreement upon 15 days written notice with or without cause. CONTRACTOR shall retain all payments previously delivered.  The CLIENT agrees to pay CONTRACTOR for any services rendered prior to date of termination, immediately upon receipt of invoice.
CONTRACTOR shall retain all product samples provided by CLIENT to CONTRACTOR for the purposes of providing samples, at no cost, and CONTRACTOR shall not be required to return any samples to the CLIENT. CONTRACTOR shall also retain all payments previously delivered by the CLIENT to CONTRACTOR under this Agreement.
Upon Termination of this Agreement, CONTRACTOR shall not be required to perform any further modifications or provide any type of support after termination of the Agreement.
She also agreed to
Upon termination of this agreement prior to the completion of this contract for any reason, the CLIENT hereby agrees to not, without the written consent of the CONTRACTOR, release any information related to this contract, its fees, the reasons for the engagement and/or the reason for the ending the contract, other than there was an agreement between the two parties during the contracted time and a service was provided. This part of the agreement shall survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement for a term of 2 years.
Sometimes clients do not wish to have the work that was done, advertised, so we honor that request. It also is "supposed" to protect each client against slander and other such vindictive actions that may be taken. [redacted] understood the agreement she signed.  When [redacted]'s actions and communications became unmanageable, we notified her that we wished her to rethink her actions if she wished us to continue.
[redacted] understood that if she continued to be "unmanageable" then we would not be able to continue to work with her.
That was the case, so the contract ended.
We have always wished her the best and hopes she can find someone she can work with.
