Review: I have a management team in [redacted] that manages my investment property, I had a tenent that I had to evict for non payment she cut all the wires in the basement we were not aware of this untill we had new tenents moving in and their was no electric that is when they accessed the problem. the management company called me told me the problem and we talked to the electrician on the phone it was him, my self,my boyfriend (we were at our house we had them on speaker) the management company she called us so we were all on the phone together we asked him how much he would charge us to do the work he gave us an estimate he said between $800-$1000 we said ok go ahead and do it. so the management companies gets a invoice from the electric company the bill is $1,991.46 they called him and disputed the bill he did not come to any terms at all. I tried to called him he has never caled me back I left a message . the invoice said that it was overtime paid, and the extent of the damage was greater then it appeared.Desired Settlement: I have no problem with paying him $1,200.00 only because I know he fixed an extra socket but I beleive that if he ran in to trouble or saw that the damage was greater then the estimate that he quoted me he took that upon his self he should of contacted the management company and stated his problem, and ask could he proceed with the work. no one does unauthorized work on anything unless their is a consent if I take my car to the mechanic and he sees additional damage he will not do the work untill I authorize it. their for I am requesting a billing adjustment. I dont want any confusion I just want to be treated fair that is the price that he quoted us and thats what I want
