Review: On Novembe**, 2014 I gave [redacted] a $600 deposit for a part for my oven. He promised it would be taken care of before the holidays. I called him numerous times, his answering machine was full so I couldn't leave a message but in December he finally called me back and told me held a family emergency, the part was no longer made but he thought he could locate another part which would work and he would be in touch by the end of that week or early the next week. It is now 3 months later, he cashed my $600 check and I have called him probably 8 or 9 times, even saying I had no choice but to consult a lawyer or call the Revdex.com and I have not had a return call. I know he must be there as the answering machine is not full--it takes messages. I am out $600, my oven does not broil or self clean and [redacted] doesn't have the courtesy to call me. If he cannot fix the oven, he should return my money. I originally started using [redacted] many years ago as he was the authorized repair person for my oven. I have called the company to see if they could help (Viking) but he is nolongertheor authorized repair persons other cannot. Can you please be of help?Desired Settlement: The best thing would be for [redacted] to fix my oven. If he cannot, he should return my $600.
