Review: Me and my wife ([redacted]) have filed our taxes using this company for the last 5 years and have had no issues until this year. We have called several times only to be greeted with an answering machine. We have left many messages and HAVE NOT received any return calls. We have asked numerous times for our taxes files to be mailed to us over the years with no resolution. This is truly unprofessional. As paying customers we should not have to go through this. We do not even know if our taxes have been filed for this year and now possibly face a penalty with the IRS. We have referred clients to this company based on their previously outstanding reputation. Unfortunately their reputation has spiral downward and now we have heard complaints from other clients even the one who referred us to him many years ago. To have a company who's foundation is based on providing excellent customer service to its many clients and not doing so will undoubtedly give this company a black eye and will cost this it dearly. We gave this company our tax information before the tax deadline (April 15, 2013)and now it has been 3 months and we have not heard anything from them as to status of our account. We should not be treated as second class citizens as this company has done.Desired Settlement: To have our taxes done correctly and expeditiously. Find out if we have to pay a penalty and if so, they should pay our penalty and return all tax information for this year and previous years to us.

Review: We have worked with Mark's Tax Consulting for several years with absolutely fantastic results -- recently we received notification that we had an issue with our 2011 tax filings and we have been trying to contact them for the past 2 1/2 weeks. Their numbers/website are all current but we continuously get voice mails, we have left multiple messages per day, sent emails and used their service contacts on the website. They even updated their newsletter today 1 NOV. We are now under the deadlines imposed by the IRS for a significant amount of money they say we owe due to an error in filing and we have NO tax representation -- nothing indicates they are out of business and we can not find them. They have also not even returned our 2012 documents from filing. We have to start all over and pay money to a new tax representative. We hope nothing is wrong but we have no recourse at this point. We have contacted the Chamber of Commerece as well. I hate to do this but we have no other options we need help. We rely on them, we can't even get their facebook page to load.Desired Settlement: We would like to know if they are in business, we would like all our documents returned as they have everything we need to resolve any issues with the IRS. We have trusted them and paid them for services rendered for years and we are now at a loss -- again, we hope that there is no family emergency that has caused them to be down for this length of time but they should have someone manning the phones they are a reputable business or have been in the past.

Review: We have filed our taxes using Mark's Tax Consulting for the last 6 years and have had one issue last year for lack of response, now this is a issues again this year. We have called 14 times, sent 7 emails, 4 text messages only to be greeted with an answering machine and not a return call back. We have asked numerous times for our 2013 taxes to be filed with no resolution; and asked for important tax advise for the IRS as well as a copy of the form they filed for tax filing extension needed for a current loan as this is the only paperwork needed left by the loan company . This is truly unprofessional. As paying customers we should not have to go through this. We do not even know if the extension form was even sent taxes have been sent and now possibly face a penalty with the IRS. We have referred friends to this company based on their previously outstanding reputation. Unfortunately their reputation has spiral downward and now we have heard complaints from other friends even the one who referred us to him many years ago. Customer service is absolutely horrible. If they are not in the office, I simple message should be posted as to when they will return the call; or get a answering service forward customer calls for a return call back.Desired Settlement: Need a phone call back. Need 2013 taxes filed asap, Need copy of tax form used to file 2013 extension as our loan is being held up and tax advise on tax implications on the loan.
