Marquette Bank

I received a rewards card from Marquette Bank for referring a neighbor to the bank. The rewards card arrived within 6-8 weeks, as mentioned. However, I do not recall any obvious indication that the rewards card expired within 3 months of them sending it, and I did not see the card's date because it did not occur to me that they would limit the time I had to use it- I thought that practice was illegal in Illinois, but to my knowledge it only applies to gift cards, which the customer service representative was quick to point out. . I called Marquette's customer service who declined to attempt to reissue the card. The company that originally sent/issued the card says that it may be possible for banks, such as Marquette, to attempt to reissue a new card, but Marquette has denied my respectful request. My review and complaint is not only for the lack of consideration when hearing this case over the phone, but the disrespectful tone and communication their service representative exchanged with me over the phone. It is upsetting to think about how they may treat the elderly population, which I can infer is a major group of their clientele.

I am immediately looking elsewhere for my savings and checking services.
