N.WSuite 1000Washington, DC 20005Re: Revdex.com Complaint ID ***To: Complaint Department, Upon receiving the rebuttal letter from Marrick Homes on March 2015, we would like to clarify several items that were untruthfully represented and need to be clarifiedFirst, the home was never left unoccupied nor did it go to foreclosure Second, our home inspection company did note a multitude of items that were visibly noticeable during any home inspection, however, we did not identify those types of items/issues in our original letter mailed on November or the complaint that we recently submitted through the Revdex.comThe items that we addressed in our original request for assistance and the Revdex.com formal complaint are specifically items where the root-cause is directly related to either short cuts that were taken, lack of attention to detail and quality control, and/or mismanagement by Marrick during the build process; the issues we identified are hardly something that would be expected from a company that self-proclaims to be the “Premier Home Builder in Calvert County.”In addition, we wish we could use the 2-Warranty Program but, regretfully, it does not cover any of the defects found with this “Model Home” because either (1) the warranty associated with the defect is not transferable (e.g., windows in the house have broken seals) or (2) it is not covered under the 2-10 Warranty Program (e.g., no flashing over garage or around entire foundation, over sqftof tile throughout the house had to be re-laid because the tile was originally laid never adhered to the mastic) The examples given above are just a few of the items that a quality home builder with over years doing business in the local community would support by helping-out their customers once they found that this type of workmanship was performed It is very unfortunate and disappointing that Marrick does not stand behind their home product, especially a home that is the “model” and originally sold for over $1.1 million in one of the most esteemed neighborhoods in southern MD, which happens to be the same neighborhood where MrJay W*** (VP of Sales and Marketing for Marrick) and Rick B*** (Co-founder and Senior VP of Marrick) also call their home.Both my wife and I have lived in the tri-county area our entire lives (minus college and graduate school) and have a vast network of friends and family members in both real estate and mortgage industry, as well as colleagues in the Medical Field and the Federal GovernmentOur children are deeply involved in multiple sports and educational clubs within the community Since Marrick does not wish to back their product and support their home buyers (which we also have other customer examples), we intend to fully exercise our First Amendment Right our Freedom of Speech to allow other potential Marrick home buyers and business partners to be educated prior to investing their life savings and future business endeavors as to the lack of care and quality control that Marrick instilled into their homes, as well as their substandard customer support We have compiled a portfolio of photos and videos that we plan to use to educate and share our experiences with the community via social media, the internet and the all-powerful word-of-mouth so that potential Marrick home buyers don’t make the same mistake we did!*** and *** ***

Review: Dripping and bubbling noise prior to flushing at Owners Suite toilet. The builders plumber is stating that this is a normal sound for the toilet. I have three other toilets that are from the same manufacturer that do not make this noise. Also, I contacted the manufacturer ([redacted]) and they said this is not a NORMAL sound for the toilet and they recommend that the toilet be replaced.Desired Settlement: The toilet is still under warranty and not properly function so I would like it to be replaced at no cost to me.
