This letter is in response to your Case ID: [redacted] for Marriott Conference Center at NCED. On Tuesday, June 20,2017, our Lead Loss Prevention Supervisor,
David [redacted], received a call from the Front Desk regarding guest t orett a [redacted] stating that her
perfume was missing. Officer...

[redacted] went to the Front Desk to speak with Ms. [redacted]. She stated that she had used
her perfume (Pleasures by Estee Lauder- 3.4 oz.) on Monday, June 19, 2017 and discovered it was missing Tuesday morn ing, June 20, 2017.  Officer [redacted]  informed her at that time that the hotel
would conduct an investigation.The hotel purchased a replacement bottle
of Pleasures perfume - 3.4 oz., and Officer
[redacted], along with a housekeeping supervisor,
presented it to Ms. [redacted] on Friday, Jun e 23, 2017.  Officer [redacted] asked Ms. [redacted]
if this was the correct bottle, to please look at it to make certain it was the correct
bottle, to which she stated yes. Ms. [redacted] was asked twice if she would like
to open the box to check inside and she stated "no" that it was the correct it em.Later that same day, Ms. [redacted]
became upset and brought the perfume back
claiming that it was a fake brand. She asked to speak with upper management at which time the General Manager, [redacted], spoke with her. Since Ms. [redacted] was not satisfied with the bott le of perfume that was purcha sed, acheck in the amount of $92.00,which is her stated purchaseprice, was mailedvia USPS on August 15, 2017 from Marriott Risk Management (Claim #[redacted]).Thank you for the opportunity to respond and hope the case is resolved to M s. [redacted] ' s satis fact ion .
