To whom it my concern on September 27,2013 I Janice Tate came to agreement with [redacted] the owner and contractor of [redacted] to finish up three car carport which included the pouring of concrete for the foundation for the carport. [redacted] came poured the first slab of concrete on October 9,2013 and I was not satisfied with his work when the concrete he poured was lumpy,rocky everywhere when ask for refund [redacted] refused to refund my money. Apparently he didn't know how to pour the concrete slab and he has been called several times about getting the money back and he been having excuses after excuses about the money. He was pay in installment he was paid on September 26,2013 in amount of $500 and again on October 1,2013 in amount of $500 when he was called on Thursday of October 10,2013 about the slab that it was not right and I want my money back I offer to him that he could keep $500 of the money cause he did lay the slab of concrete but he offer to give all the money back.Desired SettlementAll I want is my REFUND!!!!!!!$1000.00 CASH

On May 3, 2014, I paid $275.00 to have some work done in my home. Since then, the work has not been completed.On May 3, 2014, I paid [redacted] $275.00 by check to repair four water leaks and to assemble a recliner. Since then, he has made every excuse (the parts were on order, he's been in the hospital, he didn't have transportation, we were not at home or I did not answer the phone) not to complete the job. Eventually, I asked for the money back. It has been over a month since I requested a refund an now he doesn't answer the phone. The last thing I was told was that he was finishing a job in West [redacted] and he would bring me the money when the guy paid him. My mother is on a fixed income and that is a lot of money for her to lose. I want a refund and never to do business with him again!Desired SettlementI am seeking a refund in the amount of $275.00.
