This company was contracted by an elected representative of our Property Owners Association for the purpose of collecting delinquent Property Assoc dues that could not be collected by the HOA Management Inc company that was being paid monthly costs to assist with POA management duties per their contractThe contract with [redacted] expired Sept 1, and Mars was retained after that point but were instructed to obtain financial data necessary from [redacted] to assist with their effortsSept and Oct passed until Oct when our representative resigned leaving our organization in chaos with no legal leadershipI am the likely entity to take over according to provisions of our bylaws until we can schedule a meeting for election of new officers [redacted] at Mars was CC on the resignation notice from our representative so I contacted them to advise them of the changes and our need for documentation including collections activity of our association members and funds due to our assocso we could analyze our financial statusAll members of the association have the authority to request information however I am the only party involved for years in the administrative dues and the business experience to pick up the pieces [redacted] claims he sent funds to a mailbox according to instructions from our repOur rep advises that the PO Box was surrenderd some time ago and he has no correspondence from ***I requested a copy of our contract with Mars and requested [redacted] issue a stop pay on any funds and reissue those payments [redacted] refuses to do so [redacted] refers me to the ex rep who will not cooperate [redacted] is responsible to clear up these collections with endorsed checks or reissued payments
