Review: I retired as an employee of [redacted], Inc. in early 2002. Prior to my retirement, my wife was covered by [redacted] medical benefits at the time of my retirement. She continued to be eligible, and was covered when I elected retiree medical coverage. My wife became employed with a company that provided medical benefits. During several consultations with the [redacted], Inc.s plan administrator ([redacted]) service representatives, and carefully reviewing page two of the 2013 [redacted] / [redacted] Benefits Enrollment Guide, I was told by several [redacted] service representatives that I would be allowed to return my wife to [redacted]s medical coverage as long as the retiree (me) does not cancel all medical coverage. In my most recent conversations with [redacted] Service Representatives in late August and early September 2013, I was told several times that I could re add my wife to my retiree coverage. I am now being told that she could not be re added as they earlier said that she could be. The denial of my request is prevailing in contradiction to what I was previously told, AND the published Benefits Enrollment Guide. I have included the first paragraph under Benefits Coverage on page two of the 2013 [redacted] / [redacted] Benefits Enrollment Guide for your consideration. Based on this documentation, I have been inappropriately denied retiree medical coverage for my wife of almost forty years. [redacted] is unfair to my wife and me regarding this coverage. 1.) You may cover your spouse and any dependent who were eligible for coverage at the time of your retirement and who continue to be eligible at the time you initially elected retiree medical coverage. To enroll a spouse or a dependent, you will need to contact the [redacted] Benefits Center so that eligibility can be verified.1.) 2013 [redacted] / [redacted] Benefits Enrollment Guide, page 2, paragraph 1Desired Settlement: I would like to be allowed to re add my wife to my retiree medical insurance coverage. I would also like to be reimbursed for the premium expenses of insuring my wife with another plan until the other plan's next open enrollment period.

Review: I contacted Mercer to do a hardship withdrawal from my 401k. I am currently out on leave due to maternity issues and have been out since October **,2015. Due to me seeing specialists for blood pressure and renal disorders my medical bills are extremely high and I have to see my team of doctors every two weeks. On January *, 2016 I contacted Mercer about getting a hardship withdrawal and I sent in all of the documentation for the withdrawal. I called back to check on the status when they sent me an email about some issues and advised me to contact them. They saw that I could be eligible for a loan instead and wanted to check to be sure before they granted the hardship. Since I am not an active employee I was told I wasn't able to take out a loan so the hardship would be processed and sent out to me via check and that it would take 5-7 business days for me to receive the funds. Since I hadn't received the funds as of today (January **,2016) I called to check on the funds and the automated response system said that a direct deposit had been sent out. I didn't consent to a direct deposit so I pressed the option to speak to a representative. She advised me that a d electronic check had been sent out on January **, 2016 to a [redacted] bank account that they had on file. She then went on to tell me that the check had already cleared into the account. I advised the representative that the account was closed and that I didn't authorize them to issue and electronic check to any account at all and the funds were suppose to be sent out via a check. She told me that since the account was on file that the representative most likely just assumed I would want the funds via electronic check to get the funds faster. Again I told her that I didn't authorize them so issue an electronic check and the last time I spoke with any representative they said that the money would be issued through a check and be delivered via [redacted]. After that she told me it would be up to me to contact my bank to have the funds sent back since it already cleared in their system and that it was really nothing that Mercer could do to correct the error that was done on their part. I went on to tell her that the money was for bills and it was an emergency that I get the money so I would be able to catch up on them. Basically she said that it was nothing that they could do unless the back releases the funds then they would be able to issue another check.Desired Settlement: I want Mercer to issue me the full amount of my withdrawal that I was previously suppose to get via a check in the mail. I don't think that it is fair for me to be penalized for an error that was caused by their representatives taking it upon themselves to make decisions where to send my money without my consent. Due to me not authorizing them to send an electronic check to any account I should be able to receive my full payment.

Review: My employer uses Marsh, Inc. to provide benefits to employees. Through Marsh I signed up for pay roll deduction for automobile insurance with Traveler's Insurance. Marsh subtracted approximately $50.00/week from my pay check to pay Traveler's Insurance for car insurance. March **, 2013 I was laid off from my job and lost all benefits through Marsh. Marsh states that the last time they were able to deduct money from my pay check was on March **, 2013. I did not receive any letters, phone calls, or other correspondence in reference to how my benefits, in particular, paying the car insurance with Travelers was to be handled now that I was laid off. Travelers Insurance continued to attempt to collect money from Marsh for my insurance coverage and it was not until July [redacted], 2013 that Marsh contacted Travelers Insurance to advise that I was no longer employed and that they (Marsh) were no longer able to deduct payments for the insurance from my pay check. On July [redacted], 2013 Traveler's Insurance sent me a letter requesting $2,263.70 for insurance coverage for the dates of Feb 2013-July 2013. I was told by Traveler's Insurance that if I fail to pay the amount it will go to collections. I have filed a complaint with Traveler's Insurance. However this complaint is against Marsh Benefits. At no time did they notify me of the process to continue payments directly with Traveler's Insurance. Also, despite the fact that they received the last pay roll deduction March **, 2013 it was not until July [redacted], 2013 (3 1/2 months later) that they notified Traveler's Insurance that they were no longer able to deduct money from my pay roll check.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is that the "overdue" balance of $2,263.70 be paid by Marsh and/or dismissed/written off by Travelers Insurance as I was not aware that I would be charged for the insurance coverage. Other insurance companies will either drop coverage for non-payment or will contact the customer to advise non-payment.

Review: Covidien Retirement sent me a form several months ago to switch my 401K rollover from Covidien to my current employer. (BNY Mellon).

Two checks were sent to me on [redacted] for $11,190.29 & $2,2220.11 made out to BNY Mellon as TTEE FBO Margaret Luizzo IRA.

The checks should of been made out to BNY Mellon as TTEE FBO Margaret Luizzo 401K

I have called Mercer almost daily since December [redacted] to resolve this issue and have checks sent correctly to me .The problems is still not resolved. and am still waiting for this to be corrrected.

Today, I asked to be transferred over to a manager but after being on hold for close to 10 minutes was told no manager was free to speak.Desired Settlement: Would like the checks to be mailed to me overnight.
