few years in the repair and diagnosis of all makes and models.  In reviewing the invoice and checking the temperature on July 8, 2016 we first need to note the temperature was 97 degrees fair. and humidity was at 27%.  The technician was correct in stating their is a limit to how much a swamp cooler can make any home during the hotter months working against the humidity as well.  With the high humidity it will cause the swamp cooler to lose up to 70% capacity, therefore causing a low differential of cooling output temperature.  Please note with higher humidity we lose all capacity. The recovery time for a swamp cooler may take several hours to cool the air for the customer to notice a difference in temperature.  Everything was working properly prior to  our technician leaving your home; belt, pump, motor and distribution hose on that date.  We could stayed and waited several hours for the recovery to occur, however that would have been very costly for you our customer.  We do every thing we can to keep costs down and we bill out allowing our customers to pay within a reasonable time frame.
