Complaint: ***The Business has not disputed anything I have statedAs for painting the engine he didn't paint the engine which is not done by a anyone other then the person building the engineHe painted the intake (which is aluminum and should not have been painted) and he painted the air breather which I did not ask to be paintedI wanted the ENGINE HE PUT IN TO BE PAINTEDHe got paint all over and painted what was not to be painted and didn't paint what was to be painted. As for all the other parts he claimed to have been replaced are all on the estimate (that I have already sent to you) except the gas tankAs stated in my complaint he wanted to charge me
I am rejecting this response because:He painted what wasn't supposed to be painted and didn't paint what was supposed to beHe got paint all over everything and painted the aluminum intake that wasn't ment to be painted. All the extra parts he is claiming are on the estimate that I have already sent to you except the fuel tankHe wanted to charge me $plus installation and I bought the exact same tank for $delivered to him. The man has done nothing but lied to you and on his statementIf you allow him to get away with this that will be a shameHe couldn't fix the problem so he had to take it to the Chevy dealer to find HIS problem. He hasn't denied anything I have stated and I hope you will read and see what he has done and is lying about as per his estimate and receipts. He had my truck and called me times and said it was ready

customer brought his truck in for a new motor , customer was told he is getting a new motor with a warranty for 3 years unlimited miles , motor was installed , found flex plate broke, starter wont turn over new motor , and had a lot of shims, exhaust is wired to rear...
bumper, exhaust has rebar welded for brackets , no dust covers for transmission, instrument panel gauges not working, ect... I called cust to inform him his truck was done , he said he would be in sat 5-7-2-16 , cust came in sat morning went straight to truck open hood removing air breather and finally came inside , said he was not happy I asked why he said it looked like a junk motor ,he wanted a motor to shine so he could show his friends, I told him it was not a show truck that the new motor is painted and all the parted were cleaned of grease and installed we don't paint parts , body shops do , I told him I could bring it back in to paint the air breather and intake manifold or I would discount 200. dollars for him , no answer from him so I discounted 200. dollars . cust paid remaining balance, and went out to start his truck started to rev it up and I told him again it a new motor so don't abuse it he backed up and tried to spin tires and again I told him its a 4 wheel drive truck with a lot of issues it wont spin tires not designed to spin tires he I have tried to work with this customer tried it again and truck stalled on him , I took truck started it and drove off normal and truck ran fine , I brought it back , and he said it should not stall, again I told him he had multible issuses but I would bring truck back in and make sure that there is nothing wrong with motor, I took truck to engine manufactor, to make sure that motor was fine and we found fuel tank baffle was bad , so I called cust and informed him he had a bad fuel tank cust declined my fuel tank and provided his own tank on may 13 2016 the tank was delivered and I installed it , test drove truck and ran good , I called cust to let him know his truck was done and there was no answer, so I left message I called him again on may 17 2016 spoke with him and told him his truck was done, on may 20 2016 the highway patrol showed up at my business, requesting to investigate the engine in this customers truck. customer told him the numbers were defaced and possible stolen I provided proof of purchase and warranty to him and we brought truck in shop to show it was a new motor highway patrol said everything looked good to them ,on may 24 2016 customer came in to pick up his truck said he was going to highway patrol in Missouri , I said ok but do not go out here and spin tires or im going to void your warranty for abuse, he started cussing and yelling , I told him to quit yelling and leave he said he wanted his truck I told him to calm down or leave he said ill take care of this and called 911 police arrived and explained to him to take his truck and leave and do not spin tires ,,, customer paid his bill and left.. I have tried to work with this customer several times , I just cant make him happy. I even offered him a refund in the beginning he told me he wanted his truck fixed, so I went out of my way and did everything I could to please him I even brought truck in to paint the intake manifold for him , thank you ,, jeff m[redacted] owner of marshall auto repair llc
