I have bought 2 cars from marshall auto sales and both cars are great! the staff is awesome too. they are very honest and care about their customers. I recommend them to anyone that is looking for a high quality car. I am glad I found them.

Review: The first week of having the car I had transmission issues. I took it back to Marshalls Auto Sales and they gave me a loner car. the bank called me asked me questions and the first question was do I have the car I answered no because their was problems they said ok this interview is done to call back when I have it. so I went back to Marshalls talked to [redacted] who sold me the car and he said its nothing just tell them that I had it and everything was good so I would be able to get approved and the car will be ready soon. so they gave me a loner car and while I had it ane the dealer said they will be ok with the person who hit it can pay for the damages ( [redacted] & [redacted]) she agreed. so they switched me mine back for the loaner one. so my car still had the same problem not even a month after I bought it so I took it in again they said it was the torque converter and they said it cost 500+ so they said if I get the part they will put it in for me at no cost. I brought the part in after time past so I could get it done and my car I bought from the working. when I bought it in they said they haven't got the loaner car fixed yet. I called the girl that hit the car and she said she just asked for paper work so she knows that she is paying for it they refused and never called her back she said she had a witness on the phone with her. so I went back and asked [redacted] and he said they still don't have the paper work its been 1 half months now and still my car that I put down 3000 and made my first payment on is still not working. the person who hit the car is trying to work with them but they aren't honoring their deal to rectified the car they sold me that had transmission problems from day one and they were told but there response was they will fix it as long as I pay for the part they will rectify it now they are not and I am stuck with a broken car and still paying for.Desired Settlement: the money that I have to borrowed have them reimbursed me. Provided I provide the paper work which I have for the torque converter so far and for the repair of it. I just want the problem that this car had when I bought it is fixed, that's all I am asking for a not be cheated

Review: I recently purchased a 2002 Chevy Impala from Marshall autosales. Two days after the car was purchased it was noticed that the gas sensor of the car did not work and the check engine light was on. I spoke with the sales manager by the name of [redacted] who informed me that I am able to take my car to their sister company [redacted] auto sales to have my car repaired at no expense to me. Once I received my car back the gas gauge was working but the check engine light remained. I followed up with [redacted] by letting him know that the problem was not resolved. [redacted] assured me that [redacted] auto would be more than happy to fix the problem as it was one in the same. At [redacted]'s recommendation the car was taken back to [redacted] auto shop for another diagnostic check. The on-site mechanic assured me the check engine light was currently on due to the previous gas sensor problem. It was agreed upon to bring my car in the following Friday to have the repairs completed. Thursday night prior to bringing my car to the shop the entire car cut off and refused to start. I Contacted [redacted] on Friday morning, and and was advised to have my car towed to [redacted] auto again and he would assure that all car all charges were cover as the car was recently purchased. Three days after dropping my car off I received a call from [redacted] auto stating that I have a current balance of $325 for my auto repairs. I've then decided to meet with [redacted] around 4:00 PM in which he then Mentioned that his boss had denied him of covering the charges for my car repairs. I explained to [redacted] that we had a verbal agreement that Marshall autosales a be responsible for the repairs of my car. He then became very upset, at my dispute. I find it Preposterous that Marshall auto sales failed to fulfill the verbal agreement. I now have a loaner car provided by Marshall auto sales , in which we have an agreement for me to return when my car is fixed . When [redacted] became upset he right and to take the loaner car and force me to walk home.Desired Settlement: I am seeking to receive $325 back for the cost of my auto repairs, as [redacted] previously assured they the cost of the repairs would be covered. I would also like an apology for the humiliation they I endured while inside of the Marshall auto sales office .

Review: I purchased a car in december from Marshall auto sales on [redacted] which ownes the Madison location as well. During the test drive I can tell the car had bad breaks and other problems under the car. We agreed I would get a inspection and he would fix what was wrong with the car. The brake pads break drums and strut were suppose to be fixed and I have text messages between me and the dealer to prove he was going to fix it. I took the car in to be fixed none of the parts were ordered and the mechanic only order break pads I waited for 2 and a half hours. The breaks were squeaking as soon as I left I called back about the issue and all he tells me is it was fixed I went to get another inspection from a different place and discover the oil pan was leaking and the axel was also torn also I never received my plates or registration from the dealer I had to go to the dmv in March to and get them myself. Their mechanic is very unprofessional and rude and after each time I took the car in something else ended up wrong with with from a screw missing in gear shifter and items missing out of trunk to change tires also stereo cords were disconnected. They sold me a car they knew had problems and even after agreeing to fix them the same problems exist.Desired Settlement: I still owe 500 for the deposit on the vehicle. At this point I want my own mechanic so I don't want to have to pay the rest of the deposited and use that 500 to fix the what Marshall auto sales said they would but didnt

Review: I purchased a car from Marshall Auto Sales in Sacramento on November 29, 2014. I put a deposit down of $2250 dollars and my payment was due on Dec 29th. I sent a check to the provided address on January 1st, 2015. I got a call from a Mr [redacted] that they haven't received my payment as of January 10th. I proceeded to tell him that I sent the payment to the PO Box that they had given to me. I told him I would stop Payment on that check and reissue him another check. I double check that the address was the correct address to send the payment to he agreed. I put the check in the mail on Jan 15,2015. I also called their office after hours and left a message to let them know the check was in the mail they should receive it in a couple of days since I live less than20 miles away from the dealership. As of today Jan 28th, 2015 my car has now been reposed without warning and they are now demanding $600 plus the $205 payment and because my payment is now due tomorrow they want that in advance also which now is totaling $1010.00. Some how this doesn't seem like the first time that this has happened to someone. To top it off when I purchased the vehicle and had it less than two months I need a full rear break replacement, which they said that it was not their issue because they certified the vehicle when I purchased it. I have since contacted a Lawyer and they said that this company has some shady practices going on. I have still been trying to get this resolved and have talked with Mr [redacted] who has been rude each time I have spoken with him. He claims that their corporate office handles these issues, but when I asked for a manager over him he couldn't give me that answer. Please look into this matter as it seems I'm not the only one being taken by this company.Desired Settlement: I would either one, have them give me the car back that I purchased without any penalties and have the breaks fixed.Or two refund all my money back totaling $2455.17

Response:

Business states that they directly contacted consumer. A payment arrangement was agreed upon and business took care of brake issues for consumer. At this point business believes both parties came to a mutual agreement to resolve the issues.

BUYER BEWARE!!! BIG SCAM! I purchased a small truck very recently and it completely shut off and is not working or starting at all. Stopped working on the freeway and had to have it towed. It turns out it needs a new pcm which is the computer. VERY pricey and hard to get without a VIN number. However, they sold me this small truck with the wrong computer in it to begin with. So it workd but the vehicle can shut off and BE UNSAFE AT ANY TIME. How is someone to know this ??? It was switched out for the sale,, so it only turns on for a short period of time and THEY KNOW THIS. When I went to order a new part or REMANUFACTURED PART, the company told me that the one that is in there is the wrong part. WOW!!! What a scam. Then I went in there all nice and they said they would order me the proper one but I would have to pay for it. I said OK and waited all week for the part to arrive and they kept ignoring my calls and they finally called me and told me the pcm part they ordered was wrong and they can't get me another one. HMMMMMM what does this tell you ?? SCAMMERS ! I am calling [redacted] and going to the Revdex.com and will expose this scamming,," so called" car dealership. It's not like it is an Alternator or Tire or even an Engine that can be fixed and they made me FEEL like it was my fault and treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Terrible, Horrible Service !!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS PLEASE !!
