We are in receipt of the aforementioned complaint and have in fact spoken to the consumer We did in fact remount the tire in question to his satisfaction In the course of doing so we noted no excessive wear on that particular tire Furthermore those tires were purchased and installed in and since that time have something in the vicinity of 44,miles use.While we don't know what the maintenance history has been on the set of tires we are willing to extend the following offer IF the consumer believes the tire to be unsafe we will offer him a prorated replacement That prorate would be based on the manufacturers tread life guarantee with the consumer being responsible for the percentage of the new tire cost represented by the number of current miles on the tire divided by the manufacturers tread life guarantee.Again we will offer the consumer a prorated replacement
