My grandparents' headstone was damaged by the lawn crew that works at Mission South CemeteryI talked to [redacted] and she looked at their headstone [redacted] told us that they were going to replace the headstone because they did the damageShe also stated that the headstone would be the same design and colorThis was important to myself and my wife because my mother passed away in and we buried her by my grandparentsHer headstone was designed like theirs and the color matched to theirsThey were supposed to call me when the headstone was readyI told her not to set it before we saw it [redacted] had our phone numbersNo one called and they set the headstone without my knowledgeThe new headstone is greyTheir old headstone was majestic blue, so is my mother's [redacted] stated that she ordered a majestic blue headstone, but the monument crew changed the order and made it greyI am told to live with it, and that nothing can be done about itThey told me that it is not the respons

I honestly wish I could state by words my reviewIM DEFINATELY not happy with this placeAND now that I read the reviews, I should have known better My daughter passed away from Ovarian Cancer yrs old and fought for years of her life leaving behind a 4yr old baby girl who is now 5yrs old So as her mother and grandmother to my granddaughter I wanted NOTHING but the best for my daughterI have struggled so much with paying off a beautiful stone worth 11,custom made and now have plot out of 3plots paid forI cant place her stone till all plots are paid off even though I'm financing the other 2plotsWhen your loved one passes you are NOT in the right frame of mind to read all the detailed contract (MY MISTAKE as a GRIEVING mother) I try my best to maintain and always visit or more times out of the week to see herIve had issues with this place since I planted green grass and died due to NO WATER available even though there is a sprinkler system foot away from my daughters plotThe excuse Mission Park South gave me was that the CITY OF SAN ANTONIO shuts off their water and they get it access when the City permits them to have it onWe cut our own grass since the grounds workers seem to not care about the customers who keep Mission Park South in business by running over stones and moving them by bumping them with the machinery they useI have personally seen them run over the stones yet they claim they have no responsibility to the damaged stones that are literally destroyed and damaged by Mission Park South workers I DONT give them any reason to cut my daughters plot so WE maintain and take our own weed eater and cut our own grass I place flowers on all corners of plots which will definatly show me whether anything is damaged by the grounds workers I am very upset that I have had solar lights stolen from my daughters plots Mission Park South claims they are not allowed but I don't see any harm in them and at least 60-75% of plots there have solar lights This cemetery should STILL be vigilant on the property and make sure that things of this nature are not stolen I am very upset about this cemetery not caring about the people who keep them in businessHONESTLY IF IT WASNT FOR THEIR GRIEVING FAMILIES, THEY WOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESSSO THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE CITY DUE TO THE WATER SHORTAGE AND THE TREATMENT TO THE FAMILIES AND THE DAMAGED STONES AND STOLEN ITEMS FAMILIES LEAVE FOR THEIR LOVED ONES!
