I am rejecting this response because:
All About Singles was not honest with me. They told me from the beginning I was a great candidate because they had so many matches in my age range and with my criteria. I have been a member for about 6 months and have only been given 5 matches. That is unacceptable and some of those matches were far from compatible. I understand they might not have matches to meet my criteria but then they should have been honest. Since I joined they closed their Lehigh Valley office, which is where I live. They told me they were growing in this area and a few months later they close. I'm still demanding a refund or partial refund since the company was dishonest.
Regards,
[redacted]

Unfortunately there is a lot of false information in the Business's response. I agreed to see the man with the criminal record again before I knew the details of the criminal check. Once I had one enough research in knowing what the charges were for - I did not want to see him again. I asked the agency if they were keeping him in because I felt it was unsafe for other members to meet him and Bob, one of the owners, said they were allowing him to stay in the agency. This makes me feel unsafe in the agency - the fact that they are willing to keep a convicted person in the service after knowing the charges against the individual. Also - the agency says that I called them and used offensive language. I definately did call them. This was after another member called me and asked if I was coming in for an appointment that day. This member had called them for an appointment and they said they were far too busy. So he drove up to Wilkes-Barre to go into the office to see just how busy they were. There was no one in there except the matchers. They told him I (and they used the name [redacted]) was coming in for an appointment at any time. I called them and demanded to know why they were lying to other members because I was in Las Vegas at the time and was certainly not coming in for an appoitnment.  I am a healthcare professional and always use the most professional manerism when dealing with matters, because I don't want to be portrayed as unprofessional.  As far as me calling and asking for a refund. I did - the owner said he would meet with me that Saturday (I had called on a Thursday) and he was far too busy with appointments to meet with me that day. (They tend to say they are extremely busy but get a lot of cancellations.) Saturday was not good for me, so I stopped by the office in Wilkes-Barre in hopes that he had a cancellation. I quietly sat in the lobby and did not say a word until he came in. At which point he said, "Jesus Christ" and started slamming things around. As a paying customer, I am allowed to go into the office. But he told me to leave or he would call the police. I quietly told him I just stopped by in case he had any cancellations.  During this time, there were absolutely no other members there - only the matchers and the other owner. I was no disrupting anything by sitting in the lobby. I obviously left when he said I had to leave or he would call the police. Then, after speaking with my uncle who is a lawyer - he told me I should have waiting for the police to come and simply explained that I was a paying customer. So I called Bob back from the parking lot and told him I would wait for the police to come. At that point he hung up the phone on me.As far as meeting other members - the agency claims they hooked me up with 11 other men. They did hook me up with other people which were nothing like what I had described I waas looking for. Knowing that I want to get married and have children, they set me up with my first three matches with men who did not want any or any more children. The next few they tried to set me up with which I never met were not in the age range I wanted. I did not want over 40. They were continually setting me up with men who were 44 or 46 years old. The other problem I am having is I paid another $800 to join the Allentown, PA location which is no longer in existence. It only was there for about 2 months of me being a member. Ask them - they are no longer at that location. The matcher from down there has moved to the Wilkes-Barre area and told me over the phone they had closed the Allentown location.Hopefully this can be resolved so I can at least get some of my money back.  And I was never contacted as far as being kicked out of the service. Unfortunately for the dating service - about 50% of the men I did meet with so unhappy with the service they wanted to quit it and get a refund. But - the same thing with me...the agency has you sign the contract so fast that you don't fully understand there are no refunds. Even if you feel unsafe as being a part of it. September 25, 2015Dear [redacted]Paragraph eight the membership agreement states; "The member understands that AllAbout Singles is not a detective agency and does not employ a detective agency to check up on the correctness of information furnished by its members but must rely upon the...

information which is so furnished." You may read the full paragraph on the attached copy of [redacted]'s agreement. It should be noted the man in question declared he had not been convicted of any criminal violations. [redacted] informed us she liked him and wanted to see him again, but we advised her not to until the company investigated her allegation that he had a criminal background.[redacted] did not tell inform your agency she also met eleven other men through Our Service and gave us good feedback on all of them. She dated several of them numerous times. The contract [redacted] executed clearly States in paragraph two, "You, the Member, understand and agree by signing this agreement, that All About Singles incurs 2/3 of the cost of membership (a sum hereafter referred to as the initiation fee) upon joining. Therefore, the initiation fee is earned and due upon execution of this agreement, and there is no provision for refund Or Cancellations of any kind except those which are provided for by law. Thereafter, Member agrees upon any participation in, or use of, any benefit offered by the Company to its' members, Member shall not be entitled to any refund. In the event of unilateral cancellation or termination by the member, the Member will be fully liable for the entire membership fee. The initiation fee provides for the following expenses:(1) Recruiting, interviewing, eligibility screening, and processing of new members, (2) Compatibility self-disclosure, evaluation and testing (3) Making of your photographs (4) Co-op postage for select area search advertising for the Current month and other marketing."Therefore, [redacted]'s demand of a refund was respectfully denied. Furthermore, her statement that she politely asked for a refund is not accurate. She called the Owners Cell number on a Saturday evening around 8:00pm, screaming and using excessive and offending profanity over and over, Several days later she called Our office and said she was on her way in together refund check. This Writer told her he had appointments at day but would be more than willing to meet with her the next day. She came in anyway, said she would just sit in our lobby in case one of my appointments cancelled. Further, she expressed that she didn't see any of my appointments there and was lying to her. She caused a big disturbance and told her to leave or I would call the police. At that point she left and five minutes later called from the parking lot stating she would wait there and sarcastically asked if I had called the police. In closing the Company reserves the right to revoke [redacted]'s membership for anti-social, inappropriate or offensive behavior and practices by a member with of towards an employee of All About Singles, as per paragraph six of the membership agreement. We trust this information will allow your agency to close this matterSincerely,Robert S. VP
