I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,

In response to your letter about your bill, I must apologize for the billing company, with whom I contract for both electronic medical records and for patient billingIn the last years, the company *** has been bought byMD On Line, hen re-positioned into its own company ** ***Some
things fell through the cracks. The only person to speak with at ** *** is the supervisor Maryann Healey phone ###-###-####She is very nice, easy to work with, and also ???? I am currently on vacation in Chicago seeing my Dad in the nursing home, but I spoke with Maryann yesterday, and she faxed me a new bill, enclosed. In the transition from *** to ** ***, the company billed insurance but they did not send out any bills to patients for the entire 2014-years, even though it said they would in their contract with meMaryann realized this in late This is why you're getting a bill so late. For the cost of the *** (***) medicine, it was supposed to be billed to insurance for the standard dose of units which were administered, not the unit listed in the billers' computerThe old billers knew to correct this in their computer, the new ones did notThere were several patients for which this had to be corrected, and it messed up the billing with the insurersi paid $plus shipping out of my pocket obtain the *** medicine for youYour insurance eventually paid $673.75, and the coinsurance amount you owe is $171.88.interestingly, *** is also administered in double dose to cancer patients with bone metastases, to keep them from breaking their bonesMedicare uses the same code for administering the *** ***, *** *** *** *** for both cancer patients and for osteoporosis/osteopenia patients such as yourselfI know it seems weird that you have chemo listed on your billI am happy with the payment by insurance for this, so will waive your coinsurance of $17.51.For all your trouble, I will also waive the rest of the copays/coinsurancesThus you only owe $171.88, to reimburse me for the cost of the *** medicine.I hope this clears up the bill for youI am sorry for all your stress, and wish you the very best!
