Review: I ordered a cake for thanksgiving on Monday. Thursday, the guest that was supposed to pick up the cake got into a car accident and did not make it to dinner. By the time I found out, it was late Thursday evening and did not have my receipt. I figured I will pick up the cake on Friday or Saturday. Friday evening I called to explain what happened, and after been put on hold three different times and having to explain myself each time, I finally spoke to [redacted] one of the owner. I explained that I would be there to pick up my cake tomorrow morning. Saturday morning after work, I went to the bakery to find another owner by the name of [redacted] or [redacted]. She came out of the kitchen angry and upset. Never even introduced herself. She first said that I would be giving half the price of the original cake toward a new cake. When I asked for a smaller cake of a lesser valued so that I won't have to pay again, she then chaged her words and said I have to pay half of any choosen cake regardless of the size (even if it's smaller than what I paid, they won't compromise). After a long 15 to 20 minutes arguing back and forth, she concluded if that I would not be getting anything although I had already paid upfront then she continued by asking me to get the 'hell out of her store' and of course open the door to kick me out. All because I have asked them to provide me with the goods that I paid for. I never even asked for a new cake. All I asked was the one that was made for me a for pick up on Thursday.Desired Settlement: I deserve an apology from both bakery owners for the way I was treated. In addition, Revdex.com needs to take action and have the owners change their policy. Like I explained to both managers, no way in the receipt that they mentioned your goods will be forfeited if not pick up the day of pick or after. No where do they ever mention any forfeiture after x-amounts of days for that manner. Customers should be aware that having pay up front is a scam to take their money, and they should be aware of that up front.
