Review: Kisha M[redacted] advertised a misleading no fee apartment that we visited and loved. We paid $1000 for a down deposit that is to go towards the rent once we are approved. However, after we gave her the money [redacted] revealed there was a broker's fee. We decided to pull out as she never mentioned any fee until she got the deposit money. We have asked for our deposit back which she has refused to give back claiming the landlord is keeping it. We have emailed and tried to call, contacted the landlord but no response for three weeks, alerting her that it was illegal to keep people's deposit without success. It is clearly a well run scam that she runs... We are suing her and her business in small courtDesired Settlement: Want our money back.

After viewing an apartment, signing the lease, and giving her $2400 for deposit and half months rent to move in on [redacted], suddenly [redacted] back out of the deal and [redacted] is unable to refund us our money. it has been over 2 weeks and we have yet to get our refund. She is unprofessional as she has ignored phone calls, numerous text, and attempts to collect our refund. This situation left us homeless. The inconsiderate disregard of this company is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: A full refund for $2400

Review: I was working with one of the [redacted] of Martin and Sherard LLC, [redacted] to find an apartment. She showed myself and my roommate an apartment. The monthly rent for the apartment was going to be $1600. We paid the security deposit of $1000. We wanted to move in April **, so we would have to pay the prorated rent of $800. The next week we were asked to come in and sign a lease in which we put another $1400. $600 was to go towards the security deposit and the other $800 was for the prorated rent of $800. In total [redacted] owes us $2400. The following day [redacted] told us the apartment had fell through because of credit issues. She insured us that she would help us find something else. The next day she said she was not going to be able to find us anything due to the credit issues. At this time I asked [redacted] for a refund so that we could proceed with finding another apartment. She said it would take up to two business days. After the two business days passed, she told us that her partner [redacted] had misused the company's money and she wasn't able to get us our money back just yet. The following days consisted of [redacted] telling us she would give us our money back on specific days but it never happened. As a result of this bad business practices, both my roommate and I are out of a place to stay and money to find another place. We are staying with friends and trying our best to save up money. We will be starting graduate school in the fall and we do not have a place to call our own.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] of Martin and Sherard LLC. to refund us our money back in the amount of $2400.
