Martin Construction completed work last fall (2013) on the railing and stairs of my deck. Several boards are now warping and splitting and the stairs are not very sturdy and shake when people walk on it. I had an employee come a few weeks ago to look at the problem and he said he would return with the owner ([redacted]) the next day. They never showed up and now will not return my calls. This company is too big for their britches. The person who does the estimate is a yes man and then the workers don't truly do what the other guy agreed to nor do they care. Mark is the one who does the estimate and he acts like he cares however when it comes down to it he really didn't care about anything besides getting my money. I asked them to fix the problem and they slapped a bandaid on it and left. Its now falling apart because it was not done correctly at all. I have now paid another company to come fix what they did not do correct to begin with.

Diagnois problem incorrectly and repaired with wrong material. Took no action to correct problem or appearance, which led to more more costly repair.Repair was conducted on 01/31/2014. The payment requested was $200. Desired Settlementfull restoration of chimney appearance.
