Shady practices when selling contracts to people
On 8-16-16 we purchased a 10 yr. warranty for termite prevention. It was explained to us that the only other expense would be, that if we sold our house there would be a 50.00 transfer fee to the new buyer. Our real estate person called Martin Exterminating and was told there was a yearly service fee of 125.00. We were never told about this when we purchased original treatment. We feel that we were scammed by *** to get the job. If we were told the truth we would not have spent 1100.00. He calls it a misunderstanding, we call it a lie.
Provide what you promised with no additional charges accept transfer fee to new owner.

I'm very disappointed and confused by Mr. desire to defame my name and reputation regarding this matter. It is very obvious according to the signed service agreement (I will be more than happy to provide upon request)that a"10 year warranty for termite prevention" was NEVER purchased. What was purchased was a preventative termite treatment with a maximum 10 year warranty, providing the annual renewal fee of $125.00 per year be paid within 30 days of the anniversary date of the original treatment. As a rule, I inform all new customers that all work is guaranteed for the first year and if any issues arise during that time, we will make any re-treatment necessary to remediate any issues should they arise. After the first year, an inspection is required and a phone call or mail correspondence is made to inform the home owner that their inspection is due as well as payment for annual renewal. This is standard operating procedure for our industry as I'm sure you at the Revdex.com are very well aware. The renewal fee of $125.00 is CLEARLY shown on the signed service agreement. I am HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by my customers and clients and have so for the last 21 years as an Inspector, Salesperson and Operations Manager for Martin Exterminating Co. To be labeled a "scammer" and a "liar" is extremely disheartening.
What you explained in the above letter was not what *** said to us. We did call the office and asked someone to explain the contract to us and they said they would have *** call me. He did call us from his cell phone which had very poor service. He said that it must have been a misunderstanding. I asked him to come to the house and explain the contract to us as cell phone service was bad. He said he was going on vacation. What your salesman said and what company policy is are not the same. *** handed us paperwork as he was driving down the driveway. I have a copy of paperwork and there is no signature from us.
The former statement I issued regarding this matter is true. It was explained correctly and accurately. My cell phone does not have very poor service. I believe the call was made from our office phone as my cell phone log does not reflect any calls made to his home phone or cell phone for June 29th,30th or ANYTIME within the last year. Once again, I can screen shot and send for proof. I spoke with what I believe to be Mrs.. Upon asking to speak with Mr., she said he was "hard of hearing" and adamantly demanded that I come speak with him right away. I did inform them that I was indeed going on vacation but agreed to come out and speak with him when I returned. However, when I returned from vacation, the complaint had already been filed and the visit to their home was and is, at this point, moot. I have signed documentation and phone records available should you request it.
