I engaged with Martin Lawn Services (Doug) in April, 2022 and provided a 1/3 deposit of $4,150.00. Work was to start by 9/1/22. Long story short, always gave excuses and strung me out. Ghosted me for several weeks in the fall. He finally agreed to refund my deposit late November 2022 when it was obvious he would never start the work. Then he blamed his accountant. Doug has never returned the deposit. He will string you out and is extremely dishonest and unethical. Doug did nothing and owes me $4,150.00. Also, Doug lost a civil case in this matter (I was awarded) and he continues to refuse to pay.

Review: This is my second attempt to obtain resolution from Revdex.com. I do not know the final resolution from the first complaint. I rejected it on August 8th, but have had no followup. Basically Mr [redacted] and his company have been unsuccessful in completing a task I hired them for. This was to cut weeds and plant ivy on a small hillside in my back yard. The first attempt occurred late last fall. It failed due to the fact that his workers did not actually plant most of the ivy, instead they just placed them on the ground. I remember the day well as I was home and a yellow haired fellow was doing the work while screaming/yelling. My dachshunds were barking most of the time he was there. Mr [redacted] came over after a few phone calls on my part and agreed to replant. So they sprayed the area to kill weeds and put the flats in the back yard. They sat there for approximately 3 days without any water. This failed as well. I called several times and finally got to talk to him. He said he would stop over as he has a client directly across the street from me. He asked me if I had watered the plants, I said no. Mr [redacted] has never stopped by. On August 8th, I believe, Mr [redacted] did respond to the first complaint. He had his crew come by and put mulch/dirt in the area. He had his crew cut the weeds. He did no replanting. No one in the crew came to the door to contact me. So basically I paid $1700, I earlier said in error $1800, for maybe 6-10 ivy plants that are growing around the weeds. That is not acceptable to me. I hesitate to voice my complaint to social media sites, but if this matter is unresolved, I will consider it. If the Revdex.com has closed my complaint, please respond to me and tell me. Thank youDesired Settlement: I either want the work redone for a third time, with Mr [redacted] and myself reviewing the work, or I want the area resprayed and healthy flats delivered to me, and I will plant them myself. This is a simple task, and should not take three attempts. He is the expert and described what needed to be done. If something else needs to be done, I am willing to listen, provided he fairly decreases his price.
