I went to the Main Line Honda dealership located in Ardmore, PA to test drive a car that I was potentially thinking about purchasingAfter the test drive, the sales person asked if they could take my car for a test drive to make sure everything was working okayI agreedHalf an hour later, I asked the sale's person "where is my car?" He made it seem that it was a long test driveThen he eventually told me that the sale's manager had wrecked my car since he failed to stop at a stop sign (police report stated that he received a traffic citation), another sale's manager came over and explained that they would fix my wrecked car but then the value of it will be lower because of the accidentI felt pressured in to buying a new car because at the time I was upset and not thinking clearlyOnce I had the new car for a few days, I was not fully happy with it so I called the dealership and they told me that there was nothing further they could do for meIt was the worst customer and car purchasing experience and I wouldn't wish it upon anymore

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: basically the business has said:  "Gotcha!  We have your signature.  You failed to catch us in our deceptive business practices, One year of the warranty you bought actually applied to the year before you owned your car. So sorry, that's one year wasted.  The other two years coincided with the the Honda factory warranty and so was useless and unnecessary. Poor dear, you bought a seven-year warranty that was actually useful for only four years.  What a ninny!  You should have caught us at our game!"
Not only should no one buy an extended warranty from these people.  They should not buy a car from them.  I suspect their deception permeates their business practices on all levels.
Regards,

I felt pressured in to buying a new car because at the time I was upset and not thinking clearly. Once I had the new car for a few days, I was not fully happy with it so I called the dealership and they told me that there was nothing further they could do for me.
It was the worst customer and car purchasing experience and I wouldn't wish it upon anymore.

I was there this past Thursday Dec 3 2015. I was grilled in the Finance managers office Dave B[redacted] for an hour and told at the end of the conversation he had 2 approvals to finance the vehicle I wanted to buy. Today I learned one of the approvals was from a Century 21 company that will finance the vehicle I want to buy sole based on the fact that I own my home and the home next door to me outright Real estate worth over $700k. The car I want to buy will cost $29k This is discrimination. It is important to note I worked at this location from June 2001 until Feb 2005. I quit when the GM of the business promised me a $1000k bonus for achieving a specific goal for the dealership which I did achieve and was not paid the bonus.

Review: I have numerous issues that have tried to be resolved on my purchase of a 2005 [redacted]. I have not received the title work for my car and my temporary tag has expired. I have not received a phone call back or email response after numerous requests. I requested to have a new temporary tag so that I do not get fined as this is my only form of transportation and this has not been taken care of either.

2. I was told by my Salesman, [redacted], that electronic components were covered under the power train warranty (1,000 miles 30 days). As I left the dealership when I first purchased the car I noticed an issues with the center power outlet. This was closing time and I had caught him and his sales manager walking out the door. He said to bring it by anytime the next day and they would take care of it right away. They had already left when I noticed that in addition the passenger door lock was not operating. I brought the car in the next day and was told it could all be taken care of right away. AFter about an hour of waiting, I asked the service rep about how long it would be. I was then told that 6 other people were ahead of me and it would be a while. This was not communicated to me when I first came in so I told him that I had to leave as I did not have time to wait all day. Had I know this was an issue I would have made an appointment. Upon leaving there was no offer for making an appointment and no apology.

3. I set an appointment a few days later. Who ever had taken the appointment over the phone was extremely rude. I had also noticed a whine sound from the differential or transfer case area. I brought the car in for my appointment and spoke to service advisor [redacted]. He did not have any record for my appointment and I had to explain all my issues to him again. He was also unaware of the warranty. He had said that they could not cover the issue with the door so I asked to speak to the GM who was [redacted]. [redacted] was not available so I asked that he give me a call as I left my car there. We had missed each other by phone calls through out the day, so I asked to speak with him when I came to pick the car up. [redacted] came out to the service waiting area and with out even introducing hi**elf said he was not covering the door and I should be lucky the differential service was covered. I have never talked to someone so unprofessional in my entire life. I had tried to explain the situation to him, but he had said that the door would not be covered and if we were going to go round and round "the conversation is done". [redacted] was present for this conversation as well as the receptionist in the waiting area. I had said to [redacted] that I had never talked to someone so unprofessional and had such bad customer service, the receptionist said the same thing about him and that other people have had issues. I then requested information so I could speak with the VP but have still not been provided with the information.

4. The whine issue still remains and I have emailed that I'm still having the issue. I was told to drive for a few hundred miles to see if the service they performed fixed the problem and if it doesn't to contact them back. I was worried as I was getting near the end of my warranty and said that it would not be a problem since they already knew about the issue.

I have never had such bad service and spoken to such unprofessional people in my entire life. I have been in high end customer service and have done consulting work for companies that needed help. I dont know if there is any help for this place.

I would like to have my door lock fixed, my title so I can get tags or a new temporary tag, and the whine addressed in the differential/ transfer case.

Regards,

###-###-####Desired Settlement: I would like to have my door lock fixed, my title so I can get tags or a new temporary tag, and the whine addressed in the differential/ transfer case. If they are not willing to do so they can have the car back.

Dear **. [redacted]:

I am writing to you in response to **. [redacted]’s concerns to the Bureau dated 12/4/2013. I will attempt to address each concern individually.

1. 2005 [redacted] Title Work. As **. [redacted] has been told since his date of purchase, in order to complete his MD title work, Maryland requires that he provide Martin Main Line Honda with a MD inspection letter. As of this writing, he has not provided Martin with such a letter and we are subsequently unable to apply for his title. Once we receive such a letter, we will expedite his title work.

2. 30 Days/1,000 Miles Power Train Only Warranty. Attached please find **. [redacted]’s Buyer’s Order and Buyer’s Guide, both of which he signed specifically acknowledging understanding of the Limited Power Train warranty. As a result, Martin stands by its obligation to warrant any necessary repair to the differential or any other possible defect covered by the Limited Power Train Warranty. It is our belief we have done so. If, however, **. [redacted] disagrees, we stand ready to revisit the issue to insure that the covered power train components are in good working order. Regarding door locks, such repairs are not covered under the limited warranty.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

Review: Several years ago I purchased a car from Roman T[redacted] at Main Line Honda. I was in need of another car so I called Roman and put a deposit on white [redacted] EX-L. I called Roman several days before I was going to the dealership to purchase the auto and told him my wife changed her mind and wanted the blue. He told me to come in and we will figure it out. We arrived at the dealership on October 30 at 7 PM. He told me they did have the color she wanted. I said great, I want to drive the car. He seemed a little surprised but said no problem. He told us to do the paperwork while we were waiting for the car. We did the paperwork and then drove the car. I told Roman that I would pick up the car 2 days later. When I arrived at the dealership on November 1, I spent 20 minutes with Roman in the car going over things and then left the dealership, only to find that there were 145 miles on the car. I immediately returned to the dealership and told Roman I didn't want the car. I told him WE SIGNED THE ODOMETER DISCLOSUE STATEMENT THAT SAID THERE WERE 15 MILE ON THE CAR. He seemed unfazed. As a matter of fact, the look on his face as well as another man who knew what was going on had facial expressions that said "gottya". After giving me four oil changes, he sent me on my way. After I get home, I was stewing and called Roman and told him I am returning the car because of the fraud. When I got to the dealership, Niles was waiting for me with the paper that said the COOLING OFF PERIOD did not apply and I could not return the car. I DIDNT WANT A FEFUND, I WANTED THE CAR FOR WHICH I WAS LED TO BELEIVE I WAS GETTING, THE CAR THAT HAD 15 MILES ON IT AS PER THE ODOMETER DISCLOSURE STATEMNENT. They could care less!!Desired Settlement: I WANT THE CAR THAT I WAS LED TO BELIEVE I WAS GETTING. THE CAR FOR WHICH THE ODOMETER DISCLOSURE STATEMENT SAID HAD 15 MILE NOW!!!!!
