Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Nearly the whole response from [redacted] is a lie I brought my vehicle in for service that was promised at delivery, that is correct But on the first visit Nemer failed to perform the repair AGAIN The service advisor did NOT find the damage on my vehicle, and the service manager did NOT call to tell me about the damage I found the damage to the bumper and rear lift gate when I picked up the car and had to point it out to them I had to bring the car back weeks later for them to FINALLY replace the fuel pump that I was promised in the first place, and to repair the damage they caused to the vehicleWhen I went to pickup the vehicle the second time, I found they did a poor repair job and there was additional damage on the car The additional damage includes the scratched tail light, and a large gouge in the front bumper cover I have photographs of the whole timeline documenting the damage, and can prove it happened while Nemer had the car for repairs [redacted] admits they had to repair the lift gate in one paragraph, then claims the damage on the lift gate was not caused by Nemer in the next paragraph Which is it? The damage he claims they didn't cause is right above damage he admits they did causeso do the math Nemer caused all of the damageI have not received any replacement tail lamp No effort has been made by Nemer to contact me about the tail lamp, or to ship the tail lamp to me Sounds like another lie from ***I have estimates from MULTIPLE REPUTABLE body shops ranging from 2100-to repair the vehicle The only acceptable solution is for Nemer to pay the shop of my choice to make these repairs If Nemer fails to do the right thing then they will be suedApparently their idea of "significant effort" is almost no effort at alland a bunch of lies Regards, [redacted]

We have received and reviewed our customer's complaint regarding their recent experience with our
dealership. The customer recently brought his used Volkswagen Tiguan In to the service department for
a service promised at time of vehicle delivery. This repair was completed and the service...

manager noted
that there was some minor damage to the rear of the customer's vehicle, possibly from rubbing in to a
snow bank while being parked In the service lot before the customer returned to pick up their vehicle.
The service manager contacted the customer to Inform him of this damage and promised to repair the
damage by refinishing the rear lift gate to eliminate surface scratches. The subsequent body repair was
finished and the customer was called to pick up his vehicle.
When the customer arrived to pick up his vehicle he was dissatisfied with the body repair that was
completed. He asked me to look at the affected area with him and pointed out 3 paint chips that
remained and are located inside the rear lift gate at the seam and were each about 1/8 of an Inch In
diameter. This area was not an area that was damaged while the vehicle was on our lot, but the
customer said that he expected this to be fixed also. He also noticed a surface scratch on the plastic of
the right tail lamp and believed that his vehicle was damaged again while In our procession. The surface
scratch on the plastic was approximately 1" to 2" In length.
The customer was unhappy with the repair and wanted it rectified. I offered to order a replacement tail
lamp and fix the 3 chips at the inner tail gate seam. I offered to complete this repair at his convenience
and would provide a loaner vehicle while the repair was being made. The customer indicated that he
preferred to have a 3rd party complete the repair and I asked him to furnish an estimate for repair at a
later date. The customer has [redacted]'s Automotive send an estimate for repair to me via email which
totaled over $1600. I explained to the customer that $1600 to fix 3 chips was not acceptable and the
dealership was willing to pay a 3rd party $400 to $500 to fix the 3 chips. We also ordered the tall lamp for
the customer. Nemer Volkswagen has made a significant effort to remedy the situation.
The customer did not agree to this repair and has since pursued other means to try and resolve this
matter.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Ok. I was asked by [redacted] at Nemer VW to bring in my car for review. My husband and I left the car Wednesday AM . [redacted] said he would take part  off another car. So  we left car overnight and picked up this afternoon. However, [redacted] was unable to find one. So I still have same stained seat, which by the way is not cleanable. So, he made it apparently clear that he has one on order.  He did by the way fill the tank with gas and wash it. So  asked him for something in writing. I got  a WE OWE slip, but....He dated it the date I bought the car, 10/28/14 and it is reads  IN THE FINE PRINT. Valid for (30) thirty days from date of issuance. Here we go again. I called him on the number on his business card. He did not answer, so I left voice mail for him to call us back so he can extrapolate on this slip. So I am not happy. Thank you for helping me. Not sure what to expect, can you tell me what I can expect? Shall I write a letter to Mr Nemer as well?  Regards,  [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Nearly the whole response from [redacted] is a lie.  I brought my vehicle in for service that was promised at delivery, that is correct.  But on the first visit Nemer failed to perform the repair AGAIN.  The service advisor did NOT find the damage on my vehicle, and the service manager did NOT call to tell me about the damage.  I found the damage to the bumper and rear lift gate when I picked up the car and had to point it out to them.   I had to bring the car back 2 weeks later for them to FINALLY replace the fuel pump that I was promised in the first place, and to repair the damage they caused to the vehicle.
When I went to pickup the vehicle the second time, I found they did a poor repair job and there was additional damage on the car.  The additional damage includes the scratched tail light, and a large gouge in the front bumper cover.  I have photographs of the whole timeline documenting the damage, and can prove it happened while Nemer had the car for repairs.  [redacted] admits they had to repair the lift gate in one paragraph, then claims the damage on the lift gate was not caused by Nemer in the next paragraph.  Which is it?  The damage he claims they didn't cause is right above damage he admits they did cause... so do the math.  Nemer caused all of the damage.
I have not received any replacement tail lamp.  No effort has been made by Nemer to contact me about the tail lamp, or to ship the tail lamp to me.  Sounds like another lie from [redacted].
I have estimates from MULTIPLE REPUTABLE body shops ranging from 2100-2700 to repair the vehicle.  The only acceptable solution is for Nemer to pay the shop of my choice to make these repairs.  If Nemer fails to do the right thing then they will be sued.
Apparently their idea of "significant effort" is almost no effort at all... and a bunch of lies.

May 22,2015
To Whom It May Concern: My response to Mr. [redacted]'s concerns is that his vehicle was dropped off due tomultiple problems, that he was aware off, and even stated these issues on the onlineappointment that he made. When we have a vehicle like this come in, in...

this condition, damaged in the front end, 8"year old car and over 100,000 miles anything is possible withthe outcome of the diagnosis and repairs. When we pulled the vehicle into the shop thecheck engine light was on and vehicle was misfiring, (which means running rough) wescanned the vehicle for trouble codes, and we found multiple codes, the major codes weremultiple cylinder misfires, coming from the ignition coils, and spark plugs. We then hada service advisor prepare a service repair quote of what was needed to be fixed to makethe car run correctly. We called Mr. [redacted] and explained the repairs that needed to bedone and he denied all repairs and agreed that he would pay the diagnosis and be there ·later that day to pick up his vehicle. Mr. [redacted] arrived later afternoon, paid for thediagnosis and went to leave the dealership and stated that the vehicle was not running thesame way as when he dropped it off. He came in and spoke with me, and I advised himthe ignition coils are shorting out, Mr. [redacted] stated that his knowledge of automechanics was not that good, and he feels that we did something to his vehicle to make itrun worse. I explained to him that we only scanned the vehicle to get the codes andprovided him with an estimate for repairs. I also stated to him that ignition coils are likea light bulb, which has electric current that travels threw it and after a while it shorts outand does not work at all. In his situation his vehicle is in very poor condition, and it is a4-cylinder which has 4 ignition coils that sit on top of the spark plugs. It happened to bethe #4 ignition coil shorted out and that causes the vehicle misfire, which makes thevehicle run rough. When I explained this to Mr. [redacted] he began to get irate and then threaten me and ourdealership. He left the vehicle with us for a couple of days. I tried calling Mr. [redacted] multiple timesto resolve this issue and every time I called it went to voicemail, and his voicemail statedthat his mailbox was full and could not receive and more messages. On May 19th 2015,Mr. [redacted] called me in the morning and I spoke to him and said I would replace the #4coil and he could come pick up his vehicle later that day, which he did and this issue wasresolved.[redacted],Service Manager
