Mr [redacted] came in to Martin's Auto Repair and Sales, LLC with a Isuzu Axiom which wasshakingThe computer screen indicated a misfire problem and was diagnosed with a low enginecompression on one of the cylindersThe following were needed to fix the problem: fuel injectorreplaced, timing belt replaced, water pumped replaced, engine head bolts, valves replaced, headresurface, head gasket replaced, and head threads repaired, etc.Once all of the work was completed, he took the car and drove offWe did not hear from Mr [redacted] until three days later with another apparent problemWe checked over all of our work from the firstvisit to ensure it was all done correctly, and it was. However, Mr [redacted] was not satisfiedWe worked with him to ensure our 'work guaranty' andcustomer service by agreeing to take his vehicle to Firestone so they could do a second diagnosticWedecided to do this so we could assure Mr [redacted] that we were not misleading himThe paperworkcame back saying it was a problem with the engine computer- which is different than the low enginecompression on one of the cylinders.Mr [redacted] was not happy because the agreement between us was if the second reading done byFirestone was related to the initial issue he came to us with, we would pay the fee and fix all of theworkHowever, if the second reading was completely non- relatable, he would need to pay the fee andfigure out what his future decisions would be regarding this issue.Mr [redacted] clearly was not happyHe took the paperwork that indicated the issue with the enginecomputer and left FirestoneThat put us in the position to pay the diagnostic fee which was not uponour initial agreementDue to this, we are not willing to do any further work with him.Martin's Auto
