Review: I contracted in good faith for a chimney repair. Santos Martinez Quoted me a cost of $[redacted], for the repair March 22. At that time he requested a down payment of $[redacted], which I paid him on that day by Check. We agreed on this price the repairs were to begin on March 29, 2016. He cashed my check on March 23. Then he called on Thursday March 24 and said he had a family emergency and would need to leave town. He stated he did not know when he could do the work. I then asked him to refund my money, $[redacted] since he was not sure when he could do the work. He said he would send me a check to refund my money. As of today, April 4, 2016, I have not received a check reimbursement. I contacted him via text on Monday March 28, and sent him my address to make sure he would send the check. On Thursday March 31, I left him a voicemail requesting my $[redacted] again. I then sent him an email stating that I would wait till Monday. April 4th , if I did not receive the check, I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com. He has not responded to any of my communications.Desired Settlement: I want my $[redacted] dollars refunded ASAP.
