Total restoration was the worst experience I've ever dealt with in home reconstructionThey did not communicate with my husband and I on when things would be doneThey gave an estimated time of to weeks for the project and it took weeks to completeThey lost tile, they forgot samples of our old flooringThey didn't communicate with insurance wellThey screwed holes in our brand new vanity without permission assuming we wanting something there and we did not! They were rude when we had questionsThey rarely answered their phone in order to answer questions like when they would be in our homeThey were sloppyThey painted without putting down plastic which ended up causing white paint to be on our wooden floorsThey were slow and rescheduled multiple timesThey added charges that had not been discussedThey were terrible!
Total Restoration is a fantastic company to deal with They are responsive, tidy in cleanup, and do quality work in an efficient mannerTheir team communicated well with me and my insurance companyThey even got my settlement increased because my adjuster did not account for the exceptional quality of my flooring and cabinetsI have already recommended Total Restoration to several folks at church and to my son's science teacher

We were very disappointed with Total Restoration and would never recommend this company. A job that was supposed to take 90 days ended up taking 9 months to complete. We could not believe that a company, who came recommended to us, could fall so short of our expectations. An extreme lack of communication was present throughout the entire 9 month process. Total restoration hires out and uses multiple sub-contractors, which is where a lot of that miscommunication stemmed from. The "right hand never knew what the left hand" was doing, so to speak. We never knew when men would be at our house, or were notified last minute. Poor craftsmanship was seen throughout, with jobs having to be redone, which drew out a job that already took entirely too long to finish. Mishaps were seen everywhere-from the wrong tile being placed in our house, to mis-measurements of cabinets (which we were told was "our fault"). We were horribly inconvenienced, let down, and frustrated throughout this process and would not wish this experience upon anyone.

Total Restoration was assigned to us by our Ins. company after our house fire. It was a complete nightmare from day 1. Things were lost or stolen, items came back unclean, we received 2 rooms from another person's home that no one ever even noticed; it took the company 2 1/2 months to get the items from us and took our insurance agent contacting the owner of the company before we were ever contacted regarding the person's belongings that were delivered to us. When someone goes through an ordeal such as a house fire, flood or any other horrific circumstance that requires them to need a restoration company, they should NEVER have to go through the things we went through, we had enough stress with our fire and then had to deal with this company. I understand human err on the boxes being delivered to us, but the lack of communication and even to go on when our agent tried reaching out was what did us in. This company showed us they have no integrity, no empathy, no sympathy and I would not recommend them for any services.
